We have stayed in the area before, but Bodega Retreat has been the best yet. Very nice area, the house is gorgeous inside and out, the back patio area is spacious and has a great view of the golf course and the bay. We could hear the waves crashing from the patio. Nice chairs and a big table to sit at. Had my breakfast out there every day. Anything we needed was in the house, even things we did not expect to be there. We all slept very well too. Very close to the beach, we spent time down there too. We will definitely come back to Bodega Retreat in the future. Also, great communication with Patricia and management. Thanks a bunch from the Taylor Family!!!

Wonderful Mother’s Day Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It has everything you could need and more. The beds were comfortable, the space was large yet cozy and the communication was easy. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Fabulous Retreat

The home is very spacious and comfortable, with a great attention to detail. Lots of blankets, towels, boardgames, cooking utensils etc We loved the fact that we could watch the ocean and we saw a lot of animals and birds. The hosts are very professional and welcoming, texting over the weekend to make sure we had everything. We highly recommend this house.

Best equipped house ever!

This house had all the usual amenities, and then some! A fully stocked spice cabinet, abundant plastic bags and tupperwares, complementary microwave popcorn. Everything we needed, and then some! Thanks for a great stay.

PERFECT Getaway!

I stay in a lot of VRBO properties, and I have to say this experience was seamless. Wonderful communication prior to check in, the property was lovely but in addition to that wonderful touches such as the guest basket (again, I see this a lot, but this one was useful!) and then gentle reminders about things via text...not annoying, simply useful. I was delighted with everything about this experience!

Bodega Retreat indeed

The property was great for our stay with adult children and their spouses. Plenty of room to hang out together up in the loft. There are plenty of supplies for kitchen and bathrooms. We found the house to be very clean. We enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs watching the golfers, seeing wildlife and soaking in the cooler temps while overlooking the Bay.

Property manager Patricia was wonderful!

We had a great time at our few days Bday vacation time. The home was spotless, and in general a nice home to stay. The property manager Patricia was wonderful, kind and follow up as of beginning to the end. Very happy with stay . Thank you again.

Family get together

We rent at BB several times a year to get the kids together for fun at the beach, hiking and golf. This home was perfect for little ones to hang out upstairs while the adults enjoy time together downstairs and food prep. This home had all needed amenities and was fully stocked with everything a renter would need. Was extremely clean and the trip was wonderful. Will definitely be back

Clean, excellent communication, fun stay!

A short drive to the ocean — Wrights Beach (15 minutes), and several other areas with water access, we found ourselves very comfortable at the house. The house was very clean and well stocked. It was a shame there wasn’t an overhang of sorts to block the sun when out on the patio trying to view the ocean during the day. Right on the golf course. Communication was unparalleled. Open, friendly, incredibly thorough, super helpful …. Couldn’t have asked for more! Had a wonderful time! Thanks again!

Family holiday visit

The home was lovely. I’ve never seen such a well stocked kitchen from cookware to condiments and rooms all had extra bedding available. Only suggestion would be to label drawers. I liked having tv upstairs and not in main living room. Weather perfect for our visit so we spent time at beautiful close by beaches. The upstairs loft has a futon on the floor for the 4th bed and spaciousness would allow for sofa bed as well. Overall a great place for large group and we’d definitely stay again.

Family New Year vacation

We had a wonderful time celebrating the New Year with our 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren!! We hiked, played on the beach, walked on the beach, cooked great meals together at the house…and played games. We were blessed with perfect weather - in between storms- it started raining again as we drove away!! The house worked out very well for the 8 of us!!

Everything you need!!

We had a wonderful stay! So peaceful. The owner has provided everything you could possibly need! This is truly home away from home! Very clean throughout. Comfortable furniture beds etc. Great lighting for cooking and reading. Excellent kitchen! Again, everything you need! Games, books and great loft area so everyone can spread out if needed. Great food and cocktails at the golf course restaurant. We saw deer and quails right from the living room window! You can hear the ocean and fog horn at night, we came home very rested and look forward to visiting again!

A wonderful location in Bodega Bay

The well furnished and appointed house made a great setting for our short visit to Bodega Bay. Great views overlooking the town and the bay added to the enjoyment. Excellent communications from the management company were really helpful in all aspects of the stay. Only blemish was an interaction with a snooty neighbor.

Perfect for our stay
