Excellent Stay!

The cottage was amazing and a stones throw from Bear Chase Brewing. The host was responsive to our needs and the cottage had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay.

The staff and property were wonderful

The staff and property were wonderful. Everyone was so helpful; it was nice to be able to walk up to the restaurant and see the amazing mountain views with fire pits and lookouts. It was an added surprise to see the home decorated for the holidays!

The best getaway

I surprised my husband with a weekend away at the Bear Chase Cottage to celebrate his recent promotion. It ended up being the absolute best time for our family. The property was so clean, had everything we needed, and the location could not have been better. Our daughters loved having a TV in their room, our dog had the best time running in the yard and we truly relaxed being able to walk to the brewery. The host was super responsive as well. When I messaged asking about beer and wine glasses, they magically appeared on the doorstep 5 minutes later. 10/10 recommend this place!

Perfect Getaway

Everything about the Cottage was amazing. Not sure when it was built/remodeled, but it seemed brand new! The size was perfect for a small friend group bday getaway. The location is ideal. Can’t wait to go back.

Navy Weekend Reunion

Wanted to stay near the Bleu Frog Vinyard for a USNA company/class reunion. Main purpose was to watch the Navy/Air Force and enjoy local wine & beer. Bear Chase Cottage was perfectly located. It was clean and well appointed. The local brewing offered excellent food and hiking trails we're very convenient. Navy won handily making for a most enjoyable weekend. Beat Army!

Great location, awesome house

The Bear Chase Cottage is an ideal spot to stay! The area is beautiful and it's perfect if you want to spend the day at the Bear Chase Brewery and walk 30 seconds home. The house is cute, comfortable and completely updated. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent stay with great vineyards and hiking trails

The house was on a beautiful hillside next to the brewery and only a short walk away from winery and Appalachian trails. Really clean and very spacious. We were two couple and two single people. The pull out couch was very comfy and there was plenty of room for a queen size air mattress.

Great Easter Getaway

Had a very relaxing time with family. Spacious kitchen and seating indoor and outside. More private than expected even though it was on-premise of the brewery. We loved the fenced yard for our dog to hang out with us!

New Years getaway!

The Bear Chase Cottage is amazing. The details and decorations are above and beyond. Nice little country getaway with the convenience of having the brewery at walking distance and plenty of others within a 5-15 min drive. Staff was kind and helpful and always available (Shoutout to Hunter). Chris was extremely prompt in responding and very accommodating. Looking forward to returning again. Thanks!

Bear Chase Beauty

Beautifully maintained & decorated immaculate vacation property. Easy drive to so many different craft breweries ( including one onsite), distilleries and vineyards. To our surprise, the house was even decorated for Christmas with a tree, and poinsettias. The care is obvious in these unexpected touches. We will definitely consider a return stay.

Perfect get away for our special day

My wife and I stayed at the bear chase cottage for our wedding night. We were fortunate to book the cottage an incredibly short distance to our reception venue, the “Bear Cave” at Bear Chase Brewing (literally a 20 second walk from the cottage as it is on sight). We enjoyed the cottage for two nights and we’re able to wake up early to catch the sunrise both mornings. It was exceptionally clean and organized. It had all the amenities necessary and then some! The staff/management were tremendously easy to work with and required minimal communication but all communication had was efficient and made everything a breeze. We plan to return and stay at the cottage in future to enjoy a few more nights at this fantastic location!

Quiet, beautiful, walkable to Appalachian Trail Head

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bear Chase Cottage for Thanksgiving with immediate family. Plenty of space and was able to prepare our holiday meal without any problems. Outside fire pit was fantastic, and the sunrise from the Bear Chase Brewery mountain was impressive. Enjoyed short hikes along the Appalachian Trail and relaxed after the hikes by having drinks and food at the Brewery. Plenty of large - screen televisions and comfortable seating for watching holiday movies. Great spaces for card and board games. Property manager easy to contact and responsive.

Birthday getaway

This was the perfect home away from home little cottage. Cozy little place to celebrate a birthday with close friends. The place was exceptionally clean and a hop skip and jump to Bear Chase Brewery. We definitely will be back! Thank you Chris for all your help.

Annual fall getaway

This was our first time at the cottage, but it exceeded expectations just as all Bear Chase properties do. The cottage is beautiful and very spacious for two bedrooms. It's an easy walk up the hill to the brewery. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

This property was very nice, immaculate, well stocked in all the basics, easy to get to, and near fun activities. The views were amazing at the grounds of the brewery next door. I liked that it was pet friendly. Our time there was spent mainly with family and the wedding festivities so would definitely like to come again to take advantage of all I said.

Cozy, Stylish, and Convenient

Cozy retreat next door to Bear Chase Brewery!

Wow! Checked all the boxes for us. Clean, modern farmhouse feel and cozy. Really nice quality of all amenities. It’s a short walk to the brewery which is so cool. But still very quiet and private.
