A very spacious cabin in the woods....loved all the decks and porches. We noticed a few needed home repairs were needed, but it didn't interfere with our stay. The property manger was attentive and very good responding to questions. It was a great place to spend time with our family.

The cabin is located on a quiet mountain road just minutes from Downtown BlueRidge. Upon arrival we had ample parking for 3 large vehicles once we determined who parked where. The house is under a canopy of beautiful trees set on the side of the hill. As with any home in the woods you would expect cobwebs and bugs outside. (Adding a broom in the house would be helpful) There were some things I had read in previous reviews that seem to still be addressed. We weren’t staying in the woods thinking we were going to be getting perfection so we just overlooked a few things. The house was perfect for our large family. There were 11 of us and everyone got a bed which was our priority with 3 separate households coming together. The game room was awesome! We probably would have spent more time in there if the tv had been working over the fireplace but we couldn’t figure it out to save our life. My husband and I stayed in the primary suite on the left side of the house. It seems the blinds have been tore up for some time according to the last several reviews. It would make that room feel more cozy if they were taken down and replaced with room darkening curtains. We couldn’t figure out how to turn the tv on in the primary suite either. We enjoyed cornhole and had a little fire in the fire pit. We used the outside porch and swing everyday. We even caught firefly’s. The house overall served the needs that we had and if the opportunity arose we would stay there again with our family.

Great location and my husband ending up get sick and they worked with us and changed the dates so we would still be ableto go but the home needs to be cleaned better and run down. bbq was dirty and rusted the gas tank leaked gas we were not able to use it we had to buy a new one to bbq, kitchen was infested with roaches and rats came out at night through the vents. We went to remove bedding before checking out and found bedbugs also the windows leaked and had to get clean up the water when it rain.

The cabin was big enough for our family, and we enjoyed the room. It wasn’t clean like I thought it should be. The outside chairs had leaves, cobwebs, and ants on them. The remotes to the tvs didn’t work. Some didn’t have batteries or the batteries were dead. We were going to grill out one night but the grill was dirty and nasty. The blinds in the master room are still broken and the door handle in one bedroom came off. The air conditioning vents are not securely fastened to the floor and our baby kept trying to pull them up. Otherwise, we had a good time making memories. The beds were comfortable, and everyone had space.

Dirty

The cabin is cute even though it's outdated. It's in a nice area that was pretty and peaceful, but we did have several issues. For starters when we walked in, the floors were all dirty. It looked as if they had not been, broken blinds in bedrooms, RV's that wouldn't work, fireplace that didn't work, ants, towels smelled spoiled, They were not kidding about a car being best to get into the driveway. The road leading to the house is up and down a very narrow 1 lane road with almost no place to pull over if a car is coming in the opposite direction.

Great for 3 families!

We booked this place for our “framily” weekend getaway. It was perfect for us! Very large house with great hiding places inside and outside for the kids to play hide and seek! The adults enjoyed the large dining room table for meals and board games. There is a small outhouse with 2 beds and a futon. Luckily we were not planning to use those beds because they had dead bugs on them. Other than that, everything was great!

A great little Oasis!

The owners were very communicative, very kind and super swift with response! The property is quite large and lovely! My friends and I had an absolute blast! I would come back here again.

Family Getaway

The house is absolutely gorgeous. When they say a car is best to get to the house they mean it 😆 We did make it up with an SUV pulling a trailer but it was scary. Definitely wouldn't try in the winter. Plenty of room to hike with beautiful views.

Family Fun

There were many games for all ages to play. Not much sitting space to have everyone in one spot. Dining room was limited to 8. Lighting in kitchen and large living areas was minimal. Disappointed that Bunk House was not available. A week was enough time to explore surrounding city of Blue Ridge. Found easier route for hairpin turn on Tanglewood, other than GPS.

Baseball weekend with friends

We enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect size for our party of 15, plenty of room. We really enjoyed having the separate living room spaces for kids and adults and the game area upstairs.

Spacious cabin but dirty

The cabin itself was great with lots of space. Beds were very comfortable. The only negative was it was not very clean. Beer bottles left behind, bar area was filthy, hair on the bed sheets, and lingerie left behind a bed (discovered while plugging up phone charger). Needs a deep cleaning.

Great Layout and Space

We loved the layout of the home. Beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed for the stay. There were clean towels folded on each of the beds, but they were still wet, so we had to toss them into the dryer. There were cobwebs on light fixtures and windows. Not too much of a big deal but felt it should be mentioned. One of the biggest issues was the yard was not completely fenced in. We had small dogs and were not able to let them loose in the yard as advertised. That was very disappointing for me. There were 2 gas fireplaces, but i was only able to get one to light. Quiet neighborhood. Great location. Would definitely stay again if the fence is confirmed to be fully enclosed.
