80 th Birthday celebration
Overall stay was really good. We celebrated my mom’s 80th birthday. Just a couple of things I would like to share the hot water on the upper level didn’t get hot and the internet did not work. The cabin is very nice and spacious with plenty of space.

75th Birthday weekend
I will be looking for a refund from Vacasa concerning the broken dishwasher. While we enjoyed the spaciousness and the setting of the cabin home, there were a number of items that were just unacceptable. The stove was very dirty and it took over three hours for the oven to reach a temperature of 350°. Two of the showers had lukewarm water, at best. Never warm enough for a shower. When we arrived, as you know, we were unable to get inside for over 30 minutes. The decks were covered with leaves and spiderwebs. You said they were blown off that morning, but if you look at the pictures, you can see that could not have happened. The maintenance person did come, but he was ill equipped to handle the problem. We had trouble with the TV as there was no sound. The maintenance man did come to fix it, but we did miss some football we were planning to watch. I understand that things break. If I had been informed as to the broken dishwasher and the stove problem, I could have planned better for the food and have brought more paper products since we had 16 people. I had not planned to wash dishes. If you need more information about any of these problems, please contact me. Oh yes, there were used towels hanging in one of the bathrooms and some clothes left on the floor of one of the bedrooms. We were not able to enjoy the hot tub as the first time it was used, the smell was so bad that the people could not stay in it. I guess that is enough for now.

Family Reunion
Large mountain home with enough amenities that we weren't on top of each other. Plenty of things to do in the surrounding area to keep everyone happy. Everyone said they were wiling to return.

Ran out of room plenty of out door Improvements needed
First let me say we really enjoyed our stay in the area, and the cabin worked well for our family of 13. With that being said I do not want to sound overly critical but there are numerous things in the cabin that need attention or improved on that could assure future visitors to return Floor Vents sunk in we fixed all I believe Lot of out door lights need replaced One Recliner stuck in halfway open Decks needs stained & painted Rally -X game could not get to work Hockey game has broken rod (& no balls) Hockey air game goal is broken just needs screws to fix. We fixed. Smaller glass hockey has broken handle Only three table tennis paddles Some fan remotes missing batteries, believe we replaced all Window blind rods broke can’t adjust 3rd Floor hall bath sink dripping Need stopper upstairs master bedroom sink Mold on ceiling hall bath 2nd floor Shower leaking at wall hall bath 2nd floor Could use Wi-Fi Booster on 1st & 2nd floor, as can only connect on top floor Burners on stove automatically go to high. Can’t control temperature levels. Futon Sleeper in Game room broke not useable Need a small drainage ditch end of drive, it becomes a lake when raining & no drainage to release water Watch for exposed nail in floor by Coffee maker Cleaning Look behind furniture Look under furniture (nail clippings On bottom table shelf 3rd floor) between two recliners Look high shelves etc. 3rd floor rug is grossly filthy

Our overall stay was great. The guests before us put the trash in the garage, but not outside the house, however, it did get picked up the next day. Also the main living room TV did not work, they tried to replace it, but the one they brought was cracked right out of the box. That wasn't overly important. During our stay, on Friday, an electric circuit blew where the sauna is, and was not able to be fixed throughout the rest of our stay. We used an extension cord for the TV in the family/game room, because that TV was on the same circuit as the sauna. I'm sure it's fixed now. We walked down to the railroad tracks, but could not use the dock or bridge due to lack of repair. It would have been nice to fish there. Even with those things, our stay was great. We enjoyed having time together and also enjoyed the activities we had planned. Thank you for having properties that house our whole family.

The location is ideal! Plenty of room for a group of 17. We are an aging group, so I regret not having taken the stairs into account. There is some wear and tear on the outside, but the inside was nice.

Our Family Christmas with 19 people was a fun experience at this this lodge. Plenty of room to play games, run around and sleep. The kids had a ball! The kitchen was small for a big group.

Inconvenience at every turn
This property was great in the face that it is well represented in the photos. Where it misses the mark is in the execution of your stay. During our stay we had the following problems occur: the furnace was broken leaving the bottom two floors of the house at 54 degrees and unusable (including amenities on those floors) for half of our stay, the TV in the main living room would not work - this would have been less of an issue if we could use the tvs on other floors -, and the oven put out thick smoke when it was turned on leaving it unusable. The property manager was helpful but it is inexcusable to have the furnace not working when we spent over $1,500.

Awesome cabin!
This was perfect for our small wedding weekend! There is a huge back deck that wasn’t even in the listing that we used for ceremony, it was beautiful and magical. The cabin is spacious and everyone had a blast. The only thing I would say negative is that the outside of cabin and decks could be taken care of better, and there are 2 outside doors that are broken and need replaced and a few other odds and ends, but definitely didn’t take away the amazing weekend we had with our family. Thank you!

We used this cabin for our family reunion. Overall we were very happy with our stay. There is a few things we noticed: no pool table or air hockey table as mentioned, some of the bottom of doors leading to outside had holes or openings in them, cabin stayed hot or warm never completely cooled down, A LOT of remotes scattered so finding correct remote took time (living room TV has a line going down one side), check out was at 10 AM never received a text and it is currently 10:11 AM but at 9:40 AM 3 cars arrived and waited for us to leave which made us feel rushed. Again overall we had a great weekend but these were things I would want future guests to be aware of as it is a lot of money.

Awesome place for a group
We loved this spot! The house is super unique and was perfect for our large group weekend in the mountains! We loved how close it was to everything in Blue Ridge and all the fun amenities at the house. The massive living room/kitchen/dining area was the best. Special shout-out to the property manager who was so helpful to us after we thought we forgot something. Turns out we didn't... but he went the extra mile to search the house for us and keep us posted. We will return in the future!

Great place for big family gatherings
Great gathering areas for adults and kids. Every year we take our family ( 4 couples and their kids) for a winter get away - this is one of the best places we've stayed in. Lots of places to sleep, some a little colder than others, but there were gas log fireplaces to make up the difference. Close to town for a little shopping and dinning. The pool table was uneven, but other than that, the hot tub, grilling area, kitchen, game room etc. were all just right.

Awesome stay
Had a quiet bachelor party weekend here. Amazing time, killer property. Was so fun to explore when we first got there. Plenty rooms with plenty of neat things like the hot tub, sauna, fire pit, game room. The pool table was nice but definitely needs some slight fixing, balls don’t roll totally straight haha but still fun. The cabin feel was spot on and there are decks galore. If you were to bring kids this would be a dream hide and seek place for them. Would highly recommend if it seems your vibe. Probably not for everybody but we all loved it. Definitely a unique stay. 10/10 would stay again.

Awesome location! Just a few minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, right off the hwy. Group of men from church stayed there to go fishing. We were in short driving distance from all our trout fishing spots.

Great Stay!
We really enjoyed the get away in this beautiful cabin. Highlights: The hot tub was the star of the show, followed closely by the amazing view and perfect location. This cabin is located off the main highway about 2-3 minutes on a gravel road. Kitchen: The kitchen had a lot of pots and pans, as well as two coffee makers and a waffle maker. I would have liked to have a blender, but can't really complain because there were so many other kitchen and cookwares. Beds: Beds were comfortable and clean. The doors are nice, and did not hear any ruckus from the bedroom closest to the hot tub when friends were in it (in case you are rock-paper-scissoring for a good room). Overall great stay! We would do it again!
