En la planta baja hay una mesa de billar, TV grande, chimenea de gas, sofá de dos plazas, sofá cama y una silla mullida. Cuando estés listo para la paz y la soledad, sube a la cabaña. ¡High Bear Nation está esperando!

Debe contactarnos para agregar más de un perro a la reserva, si está permitido. $ 20 por perro, por noche. Si se permiten mascotas, el cargo por el primer perro se incluirá en el costo total indicado.

Had good time
It was a nice and clean cabin and we found the status was very close to what was in pictures. We had a great time during the 2 nights stay. It was very private and secluded. This cabin had all what we needed. As we saw in few other comments, driving to the cabin would have been little difficult without a 4X4. One small issue we faced was, igniting the fire place in the basement, as we badly needed the heat as temperature went down to lower 40 at night. Owners should get it checked. We also found the coffee maker is not working. Other than that, we had nice time.

Thanksgiving getaway
We had a wonderful time this week! The cabin was in great shape and clean. The road to get to it was rough, especially at night, but I was able to do it without 4-wheel drive. The kitchen wasn't super well stocked for cooking but we planned on snack food anyways so it worked fine for us. We will definitely stay again!

Tough review
This is a tough one. On one hand, it was a great place, close to hiking and Blue Ridge, and the setup was perfect. However, there were some concerning cons. We received a text that our 4pm check-in was delayed to 5:30pm due to the 'busy season,' which felt odd. I called VRBO, and they said I could check out late instead, but I wasn't okay with that. VRBO then contacted the owners, and told me they would to call me to confirm 4pm check-in, but I never received a call. Instead, I got another text at around 4:30 stating the place was ready. When we checked in property was great and met our needs. Great location and cute place. However, my oldest found a dead mouse in a trap under her pull-out couch. Not a big deal, but it did look like it had been there awhile. I sent a photo to the owners, who apologized and said they'd notify the cleaners. On the second day, we found mouse droppings in the silverware drawer. Like a bunch of droppings all over the things we use to put food in our mouths! I sent them a picture of that and never heard back. We had a great time, but please don't treat your guests like an inconvenience. I feel like VRBO and Vacasa both dropped the ball on basic hospitality. Mistakes happen. Own them, repair them and make the guest feel taken care of.

First time in Blue Ridge. Enjoyed the trip and location of cabin. It is secluded but convenient as well. Cabin is dated some and needs cleaning more thoroughly. Remote was missing for TV in dining area and it was no TV at all in master bedroom. Could think about adding a Keurig coffee maker as well as the regular one there. Overall, it was a good trip.

Nice house, just a few changes
The house is lovely and offers many options for comfortable seating and reading/visiting. I would recommend it to others. It would be nice to have coffee on site at check-in. Even just a tiny bag to carry through the first morning. It was really difficult to figure out how to turn off the light over the dining table and that was annoying. We couldn't follow the checkout procedures, there weren't any dishwasher pods and the garbage room was locked.

Awesome cabin, terrible road
The cabin and all amenities were amazing, check in process was quick easy and pain free. However thank God i had a 4wheel dr pickup with lots of ground clearance. The road just got worse and worse, I had to drive to the next property and make 6 point turn in 4 wheel drive, then back down the driveway. Cabin was amazing the road was not!

Cozy Getaway Cabin
I had a wonderful stay at High Bear Nation. The cabin was beautiful, peaceful, and the process of renting was a breeze. The showers are in need of minor upgrades (shower head and curtain), but it was a minor inconvenience. I reached out to guest services about an issue and they responded quickly and reassured the issue would be fixed. I plan on booking this cabin again in the future. Thank you!

A Cherry Log treasure
Every VRBO rental I have had has at minimum met expectations...Only a few has exceeded them and this property certainly did. Spacious and very well thought out floor plan. Several Fireplaces and TV with excellent wifi coverage in 5 G This beautiful well built cabin would accomadate couples as well as large groups comfortably. When making plans to visit the Cheery Log/Blue Ridge area again, I will not hesitate to stay here again....a true treasure in the treetops!

Such a disappointing stay
First of all the property was not maintained clean everywhere we found dust, spider webs in the outside furniture most disappointing was we had terrible smell in the basement where a rat died and it’s not been cleaned. Only after we reported about that smell they send persons to clear it.. We couldn’t digest this as we had our kid who could have got infected with dead rats smell that surrounded entire basement. One of the head rest in the bedroom almost collapsed and fell but the good part is no one were sleeping that time.. One request to property management before you have guests pls check all the furnitures, stuffs inside the property also try to clean it up well before you have guests at ur place. Common bathroom exhaust wasn’t working which made us get pissed off. We spend money to make a memorable trip for our family Inturn we expect to have good value for all the money that we pay you.. if our money isn’t valued enough as a customer we would be much disappointed. AtleAst try to make other guests who stay in ur property happy by giving value for their money..

Beautiful Getaway
Just as gorgeous as the listing if not more! Stunning views, enclosed dog walk around the entire porch, a spectacular getaway from everyday life! Location does require 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up and down the steep mountain side. Location is perfect for visiting orchards in Ellijay or shops in Blue Ridge.

Paradise
Let me begin by saying the pictures do not do this place justice. OMG! It was perfect…from the spacious kitchen (which the girls - aka, the wives) enjoyed; to the full size pool table (that the boys - aka the husbands) spent hours together….although I don’t think I would believe every thing they tell you. Our time on the decks taking in nature (visited by deer & several playful squirrels), laughing and sharing childhood memories, planning adventures, and the anticipation of the pending proposal. We came to witness a young man pledge his love & dedication to his girlfriend and ask her to share the rest of their lives together and become his wife (she said yes). The only regret is our stay had to end. We will definitely be coming back as there are still several adventures to explore…highly recommend the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway - and ALLOT of relaxing to enjoy.

The cabin was perfect! It has everything you need to have a great time with your loved ones. Unfortunately, the road to get to it's in a really bad shape. However, once you're there is the perfect place to spend time chillaxing

Graduation weekend
Our 1st granddaughter graduated 5/20. Wonderful visit. The cabin was fabulous. The 2 granddaughters stayed with us a few days. The pool tablet had a lot of action. The drive up from highway was scary, even for my hubby who is used to driving tractor ln all terrains. My son did make it up in his Audi but very slowly. Thank you for tne beautful area and great staff!!
