Reverse snow globe
Great place to get away and still be close enough to get supplies and do some running about. The home is inviting and comfortable and the Mountain View is perfect. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone with a desire to have a secluded place to relax and watch the snow over the mountains. If I had to look for a complaint it would be the parking and hot tub access. To access the hot tub you return from the front door, up the steps noted in the listing and -20’ across the area that would be your usual parking area. Nothing to hang a robe or towel from and when we were present a few inches of snow to walk through. We love a hot tub in winter but access prevented us using it even once. The driveway was passable for our Jeep on 37’s even with snow but it was blocked by the snow plowing pushed into it. Had we been able to get past that it would not have been a bad load in/out. To be fair, the driveway concerns are communicated clearly. But oof, hauling our things back out through the snow and up the hill was a CHORE.

We loved this Cabin!
We had an awesome stay at this "cabin." Dog friendly. Amazing view. Great hot tub. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you need during your stay. The house itself is very nice and very clean. Comfy beds. Easy check in and check out. The house is located at the end of a very steep and rough road, so it does take about 10 mins to get there from the main highway. The post is accurate about needing 4WD. The neighborhood was quiet with what few neighbors were around. I was a bit unsettled by the mountain lion warnings that were posted (mostly because we had our dog with so we needed to take her out for short walks in the mornings and evenings), but we never did see one and bear spray is provided in the house as well which we thought was a nice touch. Overall great stay, highly recommend.

Incredible Experience
Everything was just as advertised, and the house/view was spectacular. We so enjoyed watching the sunset and enjoying the hot tub. One thing, it would have been nice if we could drive down the stairs instead of carrying everything down from the cul-de-sac. We look forward to booking this place again soon. Thank you.

Beautiful location, needs some tending to
The location is lovely, even from someone who lives nearby and enjoys the mountains daily, it was quite beautiful. Additionally, I’ve had wonderful experiences with SkyRun in different areas (book directly and NOT through Vrbo). This particular property needs some deeper cleaning and overall tending to. Some of the bedding, decorative pillows, and a rug had crusty stains; the couch had crumbs and dust and clearly never gets vacuumed, under the couch was disgusting; and the hot tub is in desperate need of a FULL cleaning (hot tub was primary reason for the stay, so that was quite disappointing). Overall though, I would still recommend the location and SkyRun in general. Regarding VRBO: I booked this property when my original property was canceled on me. VRBO offered a stipend to find similar accommodations and after a month I’m STILL fighting for that refund. I will NEVER use Vrbo again. Their customer service is fragmented and you cannot actually speak to anyone on the “guarantee department”. I’ve had to run my story through every new person when I call basic customer service and *hope to get a call back. Then IF a call back is made, let’s hope you’re able to answer because they will not give you a call back number. If a call back is made, they still can’t help because they’re not part of the “guarantee team”, thick apparently doesn’t have access to a phone. Then they’d like you to send your entire bank statement, as though they can’t see the transaction on their end!

Quiet & Peaceful Getaway
The property was exactly what we expected. The property has been updated with nice modern finishes. The view from deck is amazing. The location is perfect for the quiet & peaceful getaway. The drive to the cabin is exactly as described in the listing, but very much doable. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind at the end of each day. We would definitely recommend to others.

Amazing Views!!!
Cabin is updated, clean, and well stocked. The host even got us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. Views are breathtaking. The drive to the cabin is a bit rough, but nothing a decent SUV or truck couldn't handle. Imagine a dirt road with a steep incline and some big pot holes. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the place! This is perfect for people that just want to get away from everything, including cell service. Quiet and secluded with beautiful mountain views.

Sky Cabin on a cliff
Beautiful cabin in the Nederland Mountains -good location for skiing at Eldora and nicely decorated. We appreciate all the info and suggestions about where to park and the sleds for transporting luggage and groceries down to the house! We had great snowfalls which made for a very picturesque view! A family of deers hung out in the back area for quite a while with 2, 12 point Bucks and 3 Does. Very Sweet! We were hoping to see Moose and Bears :-) The kitchen was very well stocked with condiments, spices, coffee, paper plates, napkins, paper towels, salad dressings, cooking oil, etc. Thank you! One suggestion -The thermostat was a bit complicated, as 2 of the 3 bedrooms would create too much heat in the rooms if the doors were shut. The beds were not bad, but might be a bit more comfortable with foam toppers, just our opinion :-) The Hot Tub was wonderful, you might want to include directions/suggestions when the water level is low. Very quiet area and great place for a family winter retreat, especially if you want privacy and want to stay in the cabin your entire trip. And the games were a nice addition for children, with one more suggestion - adding more darts for the dart board would be awesome! We recommended this cabin and area to our friends in Seattle, as it would be a great trip for their entire family with children and grandchildren. Thank you Sky Run Team :-D

Perfect Mountain Getaway
We were looking for a mountain property away from people that was close enough to RMNP. This fit perfectly. We had gorgeous drives everywhere we went. The cabin was spotless, so tastefully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could ask for. We watched the stars from the hot tub. I wish this was my house, perfect mountain views from every space. I absolutely would love to return.

Stay from hell
Property managers son totaled my car in the driveway while trying to tow me. Left me high and dry, offered no refund. Tried to kick us out early. Called police on us when we refused to leave without them calling to have our vehicle towed first. Tricked us into leaving before our vehicle was towed. Stonewalled us at every possible opportunity. We left feeling traumatized and distraught.
