“The outdoor space at this property was great with lots of seating, a hot tub and propane fire. We mainly cooked in and the kitchen had everything we needed to make it easy. The house is in a great spot with easy biking distance to the meadow, lakeside pool and lodge restaurants. We loved everything about our stay just wish we could have stayed longer! Would love to return here.”

“Great home in a quiet neighborhood. Our family of 6 stayed for a Christmas trip and we had a great time. Lots of activities and things to do at the lodge and pool. Only downfall was I wish the kitchen area was a little bigger trying to cook for such a big family. Overall great place to stay. ”

We were all able to take a break in our rooms and we all slept well. Great fireplace. Great views.There were no sleds available for the kids. “Our family of ten ranging in age from 9 to 79 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Smiling River Lodge. The home is very spacious and well appointed. We found everything we needed for cooking. Games and puzzles were readily available and the pool table, ping pong table and foosball table made for great family entertainment. The owner, Freddie, was very helpful and easy to contact.
