Misleading Listing and Terrible Response
Overall everything before our stay seemed great - the communication went over well and we were excited for our stay in Birmingham. We get to the unit and it looks much worse than the pictures submitted and we can hear the sound of water running from one of the bedrooms. The entire faucet and tap was broken and didn't work. Annoying but Will assured us it would be fixed. Twenty minutes in we realize there is no A/C and it was broken - hoth issues were raised immediately. The AC was not addressed until 5 days into our stay despite constant assurances that it would be immediately addressed. As a side note the Washing Machine sounds like a jet engine. Communication was regular but did nothing but try to push the issues into the future. Since our stay ended I've received no response despite them assuring me they'd check into providing some sort of compensation. Do not stay here.

Quick Stay
My friends and I stayed just one night. The place was sufficient for our needs for an overnight stay. There were some minor maintenance issues like leaking faucets and the AC not getting as cold as I would have liked (set on 67 but temp of unit didn't fall below 71) but nothing that interfered with our stay. The check in was easy and the host was very responsive.

We we're excited about the shopping district, wanting to feel like NYC. First the address vs directions to the parking garage were difficult to say the least. When we finally entered the unit we were pleasantly pleased with the decor. Until we woke up to no AC.with the temperatures being in the high 90s outside this 3rd storu apt was like being in an oven. When we wrote " Will" we were told theres a portable unit outside we can connect it until maintenance could address the issue. The portable was a box which has an exhauset you put a panel in the slider for about 3ft. While the remaining 4ft is being left for hot air to come indoors. So the next morning i had gone in the bath only tho find the tub faucet with a constant stream of water. When maintenance showed up, i pointed out the two issues. He turned the ac down to 80. And walked out also saying he had to oder parts for the bathtub faucet. Now this evening after the event we attended we came home decided to wash our laundry and towels since we were given 4 towels for 3 days for 4 people. When we turned on the washer everything seemed normal UNTIL the rince and spin cycle. It sounded like a jet liner was landing in your apartment. when we first arrived we wanted to watch the weather because of the hurricane. All the batteries were removed from the remotes. We had to buy batteries. Also the computer screen was chipped and did not work. As things were appearing. I took pictures and would send them to " WILL". With thank

Not Good
Check in was a nightmare and the air conditioning didn’t work. The manager supposedly had it take care of by maintenance but when we came in last night it was 85 degrees. Maintenance had put in a temporary ac with no duct work venting so it blew more hot air than cold. When I contacted The manager he said they. Couldn’t do anything until the next day and we could just open the windows. Not a good solution considering heat in Birmingham and parties outside.

It was comfortable, close to UAB hospital. Convenient to grocery store and restaurants. The host was quick to respond to water running in both bathrooms. It can use more flatware and drying towels in the kitchen. Also some dishwasher soap. We had to hand wash the dishes.

Okay Experience with Shortfalls
Pros: - Easy check-in process - Communicative host - Comfortable Beds - Clean - Lots of free parking - Good central location Cons: - Very limited and cheap silverware. (3 forks, 3 butter knives, 3 spoons) - No chefs knife nor knife block - No toaster - No laundry detergent nor drying sheets ( more laundry detergent was delivered by house cleaner same day) - No body soap for shower. Shampoo and conditioner was there - Horribly uncomfortable couch in living room - Primary toilet was broken and wasn't fixed for three days - Property was littered with trash and trash bags sitting in hallways

Excellent Stay!
Overall the property was in a great location and was exactly how it was listed. I had some trouble locating the lockbox but it was totally my fault for over looking the instruction video but the host responded and helped me locate it quickly! Arr felt safe and was perfect for me and my family. No issues occurred at all! I would definitely recommend and would definitely return if in the area!
