por 80 euros 3 noches tampoco se puede pedir más, aunque la limpieza en baños nunca está de más... la cama muy comoda y confortable eso sí..

I would not recommend this Hotel under any circumstances unless you don't mind staying in a hotel with streaming damp, paper hanging off the walls, surly staff, watching some rather unsavoury guests drinking in the car park at 8am, being disturbed by 'hoodies' in the night making noise! It really was that bad. We were told we had to pay for a breakfast when it was already paid for. We have stayed at this hotel in the near past and it is a real shame to see it go down the tubes as it has. They will not get another penny out of me, sorry Norfolk I just don't know how you dare charge,

Dirty, Poorly kept hotel. Woken every morning by loud banging and drilling. Hotel looked so dirty I didn't want to touch anything. Staff were un-helpful and rude and the customer service was some of the worst I've ever encountered.

2/10

broken bed,broken window.dirty room..unfriendly staff..

2/10

We booked in were directed to the lift, the corridors were filthy with wall paper falling off the walls the carpets were patched with tape which was pealing away and dangerous. On entering the room we found that the curtain was just hanging and could not be drawn, the ensuite was in a cupboard and grimy with mould - we simply walked out and left the hotel we could not spend a night there

1st room had a broken bed and wires hanging from the bathroom ceiling. I had to argue with the recptionist to give me another room i got another room to my amazment it was worse then the first it had a dirty shower and wash basin, a table on top of the watdrobe, doodles all over the walls, uncovered wires on the ceiling and the heating did not work. After complaining a second time i did not get a room change but was told by the receptionist that they do not get anything out of me bein happy or annoyed with the hotel and i should just take the electric heater

2/10

Avoid this hotel i know it's cheap but it is horrendous i have stayed in many hotels and never said a bad word but this hotel is disgusting, firstly arrived got to my room which looked like something from steptoe and son with dirty bed sheets on the single bed stained carpets and ripped furniture i managed to get moved to another room with clean linen but it was still awful ripped sheets, brokend furniture. The communual areas are tatty this place just really needs to be shut down. in summary AVOID

Paid £23 for a room on New Years Eve, hotel was only 5-10 minute drive from Broad Street (B'ham) so perfect location for the nightlife. Room was clean, bathroom looked newly refurbished. Couldn't ask for anything else really for the price! Would return!

2/10

As an independent single woman I thought the hotel was a disaster. Tv did not work, Bed was dirty, Bathroom had been refurbished, but overall not a good experience.

6/10

Good value for money, the room had everything you would need for a short weekend break. Parts of the hotel need a bit of TLC and the decor is a bit dated, the room itself was comfortable. For the price, no complaints.

8/10

Staff were polite&friendly but hotel is in bad need of a refurb...the rooms are clean but desperately need updating..however good location for birmingham and free parking.

6/10

Apart from the quality of the hotel, the rest of the things were ok, except the breakfast, they only had English breakfast

2/10

Will never go back to that hotel! It was cold the whole time. The electricity used to come and go after every 5 min. When we complained no body bothered to change our room, the water was cold, the kettle wasn't working! It was a worst experience ever.

8/10

Eingangsbereich super, Zimmer: Schimmel,v erschlissene Möbel, dreckiges Bettzeug, hellhörig, defekte Heizung bei - 3 grad, Personal nicht sympathisch. Danke nie wieder.

8/10

Nice hotel, very helpful reception staff. The room was very cold when i woke up, but i didnt contact anyone at reception so I can't complain. Generally a good hotel.

8/10

This hotel has improved greatly in the year since I last stayed there, with redecorated foyer and bar. The renovation will in time extend to all the rooms. Also the standard of cleanliness has improved markedly - I now rate it 'average' but before it would have been 'bad'. It clearly was once a good hotel but the tide of fashion has moved into central Birmingham leaving the Norfolk and other hotels along Hagley Road behind. It offers good value, a filling full English breakfast, friendly service, and a bus stop right out the front for direct access to city centre locations. And the new owners are committed to raising standards.

8/10

On the positive side, renovated rooms are clean and ok, though really cold now as the heating is too small for a double room, and its sometimes hard to get hot water from the shower. Very helpful staff, and close to the busstops. However, if you are unlucky to get a room that hasnt been renovated. Its a horrible first experience n you will have to ask to change your room. But whichever you eventually stay in u'll have to make do with the faults (TV remote, no intercom, heating....) All put together, u pay for what you get. Nice and cheap. Not as bad as i'd read previous reviews and has the potential to improve after renovations are complete..

very cheep hotel, but if only looking for crash pad it works well.

4/10

Having seen the very promising images of this hotel on the internet, I was extremely disappointed to discover the small, shabby and smelly room I was first given. To get there, I had to use a corridor which looked like a building site, with both carpets and ceilings removed, and the walls in need of repair. Following my complaint to the reception, I was given another room which was just fine, although the decoration dated from the 1960s/70s. So so so so different from the nice images on the site - I could not believe it. I will definitely avoid this hotel at all costs in the future. I met other customers who had the same unpleasant experience.

6/10

Hotel could do with some renovation. Reception and lobby have been upgraded, bedrooms and bathrooms need the same attention as the reception area. I understand this will happen but progress seems slow. Very poor shower water pressure and difficult to adjust it. Ok for the price but if you are expecting more this is not the hotel for you

8/10

The Norfolk Hotel is a work in progress as they are still carrying out buliding work etc. The room was a good size. Did not like 2 single beds joined together to make a double. The reception staff were a bit slow. But for the price the Norfolk hotel is great value for money. I looked at a number of reviews before we stay at the Norfolk Hotel and none of them were good. I am pleased to say that the facilities have improved. But there is still a long way for them to go before it up to standard. The new feel and look of the hotel is impressive and once they have completed the renovation I am sure that it will be a nice place to stay. I am sure that I would stay there again.

2/10

6/10

Given the rate, I am basically happy about this hotel.

6/10

The first room I was offered: the bed sank in the middle, so I slept accross at the other end of the bed. I found out the following morning that the batten underneath was broken. However, the second one was much better and I have no complaints, except that the toilet/bathroom wall needed to be washed down a occassionally to remove body fluid marks.

6/10

Cheap hotel but also quite poor. Very small rooms, no internet in rooms (in lounge only for £5,00). As i paid cheap I didn't expect much and that's what I received. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're looking for the cheapest hotel in town.
