The location is great if you want to tour antique shops there are several in walking distance, along with other shops and restaurants. “The hosts were very communicative and gave good advice for places to check out in the area (some interesting antique shops). The rental is snug, as expected, but the amenities were pleasant and you can’t go wrong with beach access! Would recommend for others interested in checking out the area .”

“We stayed here for the weekend. We are originally from Michigan City and it was great to have a place to stay nearby that was not a hotel. The arcade games were a nice touch. Didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub, but it was an added bonus. Everything was clean and in good working order. Would definitely stay here again! ”

“All four of us were pleased with our stay at Dune Sky. We were hesitant about the stairs but they weren't a problem at all. We didn't spend a lot of time in the duplex; we filled our days with walking the beach, going out to eat, wine tasting, dancing at Sonny's Speakeasy, and even riding the train at Hesston Steam Museum in LaPorte! We had so much fun playing cards and just talking and catching up in the time we did spend in the duplex. And having that second bathroom was a real plus! ...

“I like that it was set in a quiet neighborhood. But still conveniently located to the Dunes and Washington park. I would suggest bringing more bath towel. But other than that it was perfect for my son an i an we really enjoyed our stay.”

“I put a 3 for cleanliness only because there were various children's toys left in the dresser from a previous occupant. Also, the coffee tables were sticky. Not a big deal really. Otherwise, this is a very nice place to stay.”
