This was a comfortable cabin in a great location to explore Sleeping Bear, Traverse City, Empire Beach, Platte Beach, Glen Arbor, etc. The cabin had everything we needed for a fun week at the lake. It's a peaceful location with close neighbors (but we didn't hear anything from them). Recommend water shoes or sandals for Platte Lake because it's rocky and a bit muddy.The bathroom was very clean and modernized. The kitchen could use a deep clean but otherwise had all the basics to prepare meals. Beds were comfortable and one of us really enjoyed the bed on the porch. Great outdoor spaces including a firepit, large dining table, and nice dock. We didn't realize that the listing had been updated subsequent to our reservation and did not have a paddleboard or peddal boat as expected. The rental company explained there had been a change in ownership resulting in a change of some amenities. Rental company was very responsive to questions.
