Ants everywhere.
Everything was pretty good except the house was infested with ants and was not clean. I spent the first few hours there just cleaning everything. There was so much animal hair on the sofas and carpets that they had to be vacuumed multiple times. The skylight window was broken and open when we arrived and there were many little damages that I had to note at the beginning to ensure we weren't blamed for them. The trash and counters and walls in the kitchen had ants everywhere. We had to keep the trash cans outside for the whole trip because even after cleaning them up they kept coming back. Got in any food items that were left on the counter and ruined our breakfast the first morning. There were ant traps on the counters when we arrived so it clearly was a known issue. The location and beach access was great. Check in was easy. But the amount of cleaning I had to I do and the amount a ants I had to deal with ruined part of what was supposed to be a relaxing trip.
