NOT at all like the ad
We were shocked to find that the condition of the house was not at all like the pictures posted online. The house was dirty, stains everywhere-on chair cushions, carpets, ottomans, etc. You did not even want to sit on them. There was dried vomit or feces on the downstairs bunk bed railings. The upstairs toilet overflowed. The pillows were very old, yellowed and had either vomit or feces stains on them. The one bunk on the bottom is broken and cannot be used. One chair at the kitchen counter had a broken rail. There were roaches in the dishwasher and downstairs shower, and two on the counter and floor. There was hair in the shower. The bathroom towel bars fell out of the walls. The people to sleep downstairs would not sleep in the bunk beds due to dirty and broken conditions, and slept on the floor in the family room on a blanket. The pots/pans had mold or something in them and we could not cook with them. We had to eat out each night. I also had to spend $200 on linens as there was no bedding or towels/washcloths.The unit was so dirty and stained - even the walls, that it was disgusting. I would have left if I had another chance at another reservation. I was basically stuck. I requested a refund, and was given a very small % back of what I paid. Not even close to what I requested. I paid top dollar and for that could have had an ocean front hotel room for the same amount of time. DO NOT rent this unit! You will regret it if you do.
