Ryokans en Beppu

“The two of us enjoyed a very pleasant stay and slept comfortably on the Japanese futons. The facility is in good condition and has a wonderful public bath to wash off the stress of the day. Free hot refreshments are available anny time and the breakfast was excellent. Many nice restaurants are a short walk away. Wish I could have stayed longer.”

“일본 온천의 료칸은 대부분 오래된 시설이다 보니 한계점이 있었다. 다만 우리가 선택한 기준 즉 가격과 다다빙 방이 있는 객실과 가이세끼 정식이 잘 나오는 곳에는 부합 된 호텔이었다. 주차장도 잘 돼 있고 특히 무료라 편했다. 유후인 킨린호수가 매우 가까워 위치도 만족했다. 다만 오래 된 시설이다 보니 온천탕이 과연 청결할까(청소는 아주 잘 돼 있었지만)라는 염려가 있었던건 어쩔 수 없는 일이었다. 한증 시설이 있는데 손님이 많질 않아 가동을 중단한건 어쩔 수 없지만 불편한 시설처럼 여겨져 이것만이라도 아예 시설을 철거하든지 보수했으면 어떨까 생각이 들었다. 그래도 유휴인을 또 간다면 다시 이 호텔을 이용할 것이다. 가이세끼 정식과 아침식사가 세트로 묶여 가격이 조금은 놓았지만 음식의 질과 서비스가 합당하여 만족했다. 직원들의 친절도도 놓았으며 여러모로 장점이 많았다. ”

“I usually do not give ratings but this time I feel that I have to let people know how amazing this Ryokan/hotel is. First the location is right in the middle of Beppus 7 Hells. You walk out and around corner they are! Second the hotel has breathtaking views of Beppu and the sea. Third the ryokan do not look much from the street but boy when you walk in you are surrounded by absolutely beautiful japanese garden, pond and architecture. Fourth, all the 4 rooms we had had own beautiful onsen bath...
