Upon arrival, the 1970-80’s appearance of the outside of the unit belied the comfort to be found within. How pleasantly surprised I was when I stepped inside. The floors were a mix of new hardwood laminate for the entry/main living area, nice tile for the kitchen and bathrooms, and carpet for the bedrooms. The home was tastefully decorated; not too much and not too little. The art decor was all relevant to living in Bend and again, tasteful.
All the appliances were new; refrigerator (with ice/water dispenser in the door), gas range, microwave, dishwasher, and high-efficiency over/under washer/dryer.. All new! : ) The kitchen was well-appointed with only a couple necessary cooking accouterments missing. As I needed them for the meal I was cooking, I purchased them and they are now a permanent part of the kitchen arsenal.
The beds and pillows in both bedrooms were very comfortable, allowing for a good night’s sleep. Each of the night stands on either side of the beds has a USB power extension attached to the bottom, allowing for devices (phones, tablets, etc) to be charged right next to the bed. As I was out and about all day using my phone and was anticipating an important call throughout the nights, this provided a convenient location to charge my phone while sleeping.
The master bedroom has a small dresser, closet and a ½ bath (complete with a bidet). The second bedroom is lacking a dresser, so plan accordingly.
The living area features wireless Internet and a smart TV, with DirectTV and more content than you can shake a stick at. Unfortunately, I cannot elaborate on that further as my time in the home was spent taking care of family business, or preparing/enjoying a dinner with family/friends.
Shopping for groceries is very convenient, as Albertsons is about ¼ mile away. The unit is close to all the shopping you’ll need, and a small park for the kids. Would I stay here again? You betcha!!
