“The listing for this property was incorrect. What we thought we were getting was 3 queen beds with 2 bathrooms. Instead, we got 2 adjoining units that had 1 queen bed each, a pull-out sofa, & 3 bathrooms. Each unit had its own kitchen. When we arrived, the door between our rooms was locked so we had to go out to the porch & into the other unit to be with our friends. “The three families (including 4 kids ages 3-12) in our group had a wonderful time at Playa del Sol! We enjoyed the quiet location and clean, comfortable accomodations! Iz and the PDS family took great care of us, including snorkeling and fishing trips, and delicious food and drink! We hope to return!”

“Perfect spot for unwinding. Quiet. Safe. NICE PEOPLE. There are golf carts for rent if you want to wander. Nice, reasonably priced restaurant on site. 20 minute flight from Belize city then 25 min ride to Hopkins.”

“The water from the well smells really bad. Makes the entire house stink. When you shower in the water, you stink. The odor permeates everything. Unless they address the water / well issue. I couldnt stay there again.”

“This place...arrived in room and it was over 100° in the room. I asked the check in clerk if they had a fan and he stated "we don't provide them". I went to a local store to buy a fan, only to be told that it was not "allowed" in the room (apparently the owner watchesnthe camera from his home in Texas and called the on-site manager). The A/C does not keep up with the demand of the room so it was very hot all night. We checked out the following morning. ”
