Had to move room on 1st night not long after checking in & going to room as only made up for 2 even though booking was for 3 (were there for 1 night under Expedia & 2 nights La Mon itself) & this room also only made up for 2 but was supposed to be a room for 4. Also new room shower ended up spraying water over rail onto tiled floor, consequently slipped & hit head as didnt see & realise or expect floor to be soaking. Was advised by reception when got back at tea time shower, extra cup, glass etc for 3rd person & mat sorted but got to room & nothing done. On way to reception as phone in room didnt work either, we saw maintenence man & housekeeping & sorted problems ourselves - nothing had been passed to either parties. Asked 3 times for a bath mat over 2 days for in the bath but was never provided. Went for breakfast at 7 a.m. & the milk my grandaughter (age 6) put on cerral was off & curdled. Luckily we noticed in time when she sat down, before she started it. Had Macaroni cheese for dinner, couldn't eat it as was so bland, tasteless & it certainly had seen no cheese. Tiles & grout around swimming pool & spa pool were dirty & missing which you could easily cut your foot on if not careful, not safe for visually impaired. Such a lot of hard earned money had been spent, to be such a disappointment & for a Four star, wouldn't give it One star & were so looking forward to going - never again.
