“The house was in an amazing location and there were plenty of attractions within a short drive of the house. John was the most helpful host we have ever worked with, he was easily accessible the entire weekend and called to welcome us upon arrival. “We were at Beech Mountain fora weekend wedding & made a short vacation by bringing our 15 yr old dog. We went on long walks and found local restaurants to be very good! We loved the privacy because I had 100 family members in town for a wedding. Only gave location a 4 because of the winding roads to and from town. We are seniors and managed them fine, Would return in summer or winter .Highly recommend!”

“We had a wonderful stay! We truly enjoyed seeing all of the deer on the property every morning. It was so peaceful, which was exactly why I booked here! “The little creekside cabin was perfect for a weekend family getaway. It's cozy and had everything we needed. The host is fantastic! The only slight drawback was the proximity to the Beech Mountain Parkway (it backs up to the Parkway), but there was very little traffic and there is a steep incline to help keep kids away from the road. Overall, a wonderful place and I would highly recommend it. ”

“Well stocked with everything you may need to have a great vacation. Love the layout of two bedrooms split by a tiny hallway with a bathroom. “Booked this cabin for Autumn in Oz. Didn’t really have expectations for the cabin (we expected to be busy), but can say we were pleasantly surprised. It’s extremely cozy and charming. Place was fine without the AC as there is none, it was humid outside and therefore it was humid inside. This would be a better place for fall or winter. Not necessarily late summer. Balcony was nice.
