I give this cottage 10 stars! My husband and I along with our two furbabies just returned from our 4-night stay, and we all had a wonderful time. The cottage is located in a very peaceful community with friendly neighbors and is very close to Front Street and the beautiful waterfront in Beaufort. The layout of the cottage is perfect, it is decorated beautifully, the furniture is very comfortable and there are so many little extras that we didn't want or need anything at all. We felt very much at home here and loved all the extras for our doggos as well. I really appreciated and enjoyed the interesting collection of wonderful books throughout the cottage (i.e. the complete collection of Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia which my Mom had as well). My two furbabies (Otis the Beagle and Abbie the Lab) had so much fun in the fenced in yard. Dog owners will love how welcome they will feel at the cottage. I know we did.We can't wait until the next time we plan a trip to Beaufort - booking this cottage will remain #1 on our planning list!Thank you, Mike and Sarah, for sharing your fantastic place!

Very dog friendly!!

This properly is super cute and very dog friendly! Kitchen and bathrooms were updated and clean. Floors in the common area were not super clean and did cause dirty feet if walking barefoot (this was without the dog being in the house). The owner wasn’t very responsive when I reached out prior to our stay with a few questions, but was responsive when I had to inform that the AC wasn’t cooling prior to checking out. Although we ended up not having our dog in the property, the property is very dog friendly with two large crates with cushions, doggie bags, dog bed in the master, dog bowls, couch covers, snd a large fenced in yard.

Great place close to downtown Beaufort

Family of four came down to Beaufort to hang out for a week and tootle around on bikes. Took the ferry to Shackleford, saw friends in Emerald Isle, and enjoyed the walk along Taylor's Creek. House was perfect. It has a cook's kitchen!

Peaceful

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway. The property was extremely clean and beautiful. We loved the quiet and serene neighborhood and that restaurants were close by. We can’t wait to come back.

The house was set up perfect for our dog and us as well. We had the greatest time and we will be back in the future. It’s an A+.

Really nice place!

This home was very comfortable and inviting. Our friends came up from Maryland for a couple days with their dog and it was nice to have an enclosed yard so we could trust them going out on their own if they wanted. Short walk to the water and town. Love seeing all the old homes and churches and cemeteries and the history of Beaufort North Carolina. HOME was in a very well-maintained quiet neighborhood too. Best family friendly, dog friendly place!!

My husband and I stayed here with My daughter, her husband, and baby daughter. They have 2 dogs and frequently stay at rentals that allow pets. They said it was the best place they ever stayed. Their dogs loved it! We all did! The place was clean, open concept really allowed for everyone to be together, and so beautifully decorated. It was everything we needed! Thank you so much!

Perfect!

We were in town for a wedding. Our grown kids and their spouses were with us. We have three dogs between us. The fenced in yard!!!!! Comfy chairs on front “porch/deck.” Loved the yard and so did the pups! House exceed expectations. Better than pics. Lots of updates, coastal decor, well equipped kitchen, coffee beans, grinder, and Keurig. Spacious fridge and freezer, huge flat screens in master and den, also large and med flat screens in two bedrooms. Bathrooms and showers nice - and lots of extras. Host had treats for dogs, doggie toys, doggie bags, extra phone charging cords, razors, shampoo, body wash, functional new blinds (easy pull up and close) fantastic lighting indoor and out, built in crates (2 - one with door; one without), dog gate so dogs didn’t get out when main back door open, five ceiling fans and lights, games, books - all kinds, crayons and markers for kids. Just tons of thoughtful details! And it was clean and smelled good. All mattresses were great - and truly can’t say enough about how functional, efficient, and even on the luxury side with full bar set/glasses, granite, hardwoods, lots of choices in dishes and glassware. It’s not the historic district or high-end area but still a nice, safe neighborhood with nicely kept up yards and close drive to downtown. Host was responsive, friendly, and helpful. There’s more but you get the idea. We didn’t have time to enjoy the backyard but there was a fire pit and furn outside. It was a great weekend! Thanks Sarah!
