Well stocked with everything we needed. Comfortable furniture. We did have a little difficulty operating the HVAC system. Actually found the manual after figuring it out. 😀 we would consider staying there again if the need should arise. (We we’re in town for a family wedding.) Thank you.

Cabin feel
The log cabin look inside was pretty cool. My concern was the cleanliness. Windows were dirty, cob webs in several places, vanity drawers not clean, refrigerator was dirty, floors needed to be mopped. Towels were not provided. The two larger beds were pretty comfortable. Table lamps are needed in two of the bedrooms.

Peaceful and Quiet
The cabin is well cared for and situated close to a number of beaches and we went every day. Each morning included a walk and there was a lot of wildlife to view. We really loved the area which is off the beaten track and would return!

Nice, spacious 3 bedroom cabin to rent that is right by the lake! Gorgeous sunrise and sunsets! Close to town! Nice to have available when we come to Sebewaing to visit! Love it!

CABIN FEEL COTTAGE HOME
The house was very cute inside. It was nice having a big bedroom and bathroom on one side and another 2 bedrooms/bathroom on the opposite side. Very roomy and decor was cool.

The house definitely looks like the pictures, however it was not very clean. They’re were cob webs and dust everywhere. The shower had major water stains on the glass and the shower floor was not great. We all wore flip flops in the shower like we were camping. There was a birds nest above the front door, in the house. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Parking is very difficult with more than one vehicle. It did have all the amenities we needed and like I said looked exactly like the pictures. However I would not rent this place again based on the cleanliness and the subpar beds.

Great Getaway Cottage
We had high hopes for a short trip to the Thumb area of Michigan and this cottage was nice. Plenty of room, with three bedrooms, all decent sized. The inside looks like a cabin with beautiful, one of a kind woodwork and lots of personal touches. Like any house, there were a few issues such as several spiders inside and lots of bugs outdoors at night - but it's the lake-shore - that's what happens. Just be prepared. The owner, Wade, was fantastic. He answered questions and communicated with us very promptly. The area is quiet, not far from the downtown area where there are some small stores and also a Subway, McDonald's, and local ice cream shop called The Dairy Barn. If you go north, only 20 min. away is Caseville with nice beaches, more shops and a few restaurants. The beautiful Pointe aux Barques Lighthouse is only about an hour away (on the other side of the thumb) and worth the drive. On the way to the cottage you drive right by a sugar factory that was built in 1902 and has run continuously since then. North there is also the Bay Port Fishing area, which was once knows as one of the largest freshwater fishing ports in the world. (They even have a "Fish Sandwich Festival" in August.) Everyone we met was super friendly and proud of their area. Keep in mind this is a small area, quiet, and not a lot of traffic. A truly great getaway.

Great place to stay in Sebewaing!
From start to finish this was a great overall experience! Properly owner was extremely responsive/helpful and gave us suggestions on what to do and where to eat. Came and greeted us on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. Location was great, place was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Hated to leave and will definitely be back.

Great cabin for excursions around the Thumb
We stayed here while in town for a wedding. Perfect little cabin that allowed us to fish the canal in our downtime, with close access to boat ramps for kayaking or boating. 20 minutes from Caseville’s restaurants and beaches. Would stay here again for sure. Wade was excellent with communication and very accommodating!

Short getaway
The house was close to the water and was clean and inviting. Make sure you are aware that the bedroom walls to not extend to the ceiling, so auditory privacy is not readily available. However, it was a great place to stay.

A+ Cabin to stay in!
Cabin is conveniently located close to a couple towns.It is very cozy on the inside and makes for a great weekend getaway by the water with the family.We were impressed with our stay and will definitely book again!
