This is a rustic cabin, these are little tips that are inexpensive and could make your guests a little more comfortable, 1, access to Lake is very steep and somewhat dangerous 2, propane barbecue grill only one burner is working , grill was rusty and needs a barbecue cover, 3. hammock is filthy,4, property to the east is a junkyard, 4, bathroom is dangerous, Bathtub slip mat is worn out and slipper. They’re not having a mat at all.5, Light fixture in bathroom missing light bezel lightbulbs are exposed,6, fireplace Has existing logs from this winter half burned,7, linens and towels worn, 8, pots pans, silverware, and kitchen utensils dirty. with a 5 inch cutting board? ,9, paper goods, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and other accessories very low-grade dollar store products

Difficult to get around, but we still loved it!
It was great for what we needed, but i would not encourage people with any physical disabilities (even bad knees) to stay here.

Tree House Getaway
The cabin has view of the lake through trees from the porch and and dining area window. I loved the sound of lapping water on the shore and heard geese. The cabin had what we needed, and I did not mind washing dishes by hand. The decor was cozy and quaint befitting a cabin. My husband did not like the uneven floor but I was not bothered. The bed was very comfortable, very hot water from tap, and nice aray of cooking utensils. One does need to walk down stone and dirt steps to reach wooden steps to access the porch where the entrance is. Nice touch of having hammocks hung for use, patio chairs to look down on lake, and comfortable porch furniture also facing lake. There was a steep,winding path to the lake . I would recommend locating the cabin in daylight, we had difficulty finding it as there were lots of dirt roads. But if you follow the written instructions that helps.

Great getaway
We had a great relaxing time at the home. We got there pretty late and had some trouble finding it but found it fairly quickly. The instructions were spot on we just couldn’t see anything at night. The home was perfect for just us and the area was so peaceful. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Cute Cabin
This little cabin was perfect for my little getaway. It was clean and well stocked. I loved sitting on the covered porch in the morning while drinking coffee and enjoying watching the sun shine down over the lake. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect solo getaway.
This cabin was everything I was looking for. Took a solo trip away from the wife and everyone to do some fishing and just enjoy some quiet. Right on the water....the walk back up to the cabin was rough but that's my own fault for letting myself get out of shape. Easy check in....and check out. When the weather went south I was quite comfortable and relaxed inside hanging out.....or sitting on the deck. Will absolutely try to get this place again. Might even take the Wife next time. Also a quick shout out to the Weminuche Woodfire Grill on the North end of the lake. What a great place to go hang out, grab a bit and listen to live music.

Stayed for a week in this cozy cabin. Nice but not great.
Arrived to the cabin on time and upon entry found the place organized and somewhat clean. Seemed that it had t been touched in a few weeks, ie dead flies in the window sill, cob webs from the fixtures, more dead insects in the bathroom. This place is nice, but seriously only meant for 2 people. The road to get there is a bit steep so beware if it has rained you want to make sure you drive an suv or something with ground clearance. The stove is an old fashioned type gas stove and there were no instructions on how to light the oven for biscuits or whatever else one may want. Overall the place is nice, but again not outstanding. Not sure we will rent this place again but the hosts and check in/out processes were easy to deal with.

What a wonderful getaway!!
This sweet cabin was everything we'd hoped for to refresh and renew the soul! The view from the cozy deck...with its loveseat and dining area, was beautiful and inviting. And the stars at night! Breathtaking! The cabin was very clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was invigorating with plenty of hot water and the tv worked well with access to Netflix and YouTube channels. We would rent this cabin again in a heartbeat!! Thank you for a lovely stay!

OVERALL A GREAT PLACE
The cabin is cozy, was very clean. The porch was really nice! The view of the lake and the outdoor area were bonuses. I would recommend the directions be changed to reflect that you take the right off of the hwy (that was clear) then a very HARD right down the very first right. This actually looks like a private drive so we took the drive that angled right and got pretty lost. When I called for help the person was VERY nice and we found the cabin. Enjoyed the place and our stay.

Very simple and cute cabin with great enclosed deck. Carpet smelled overwhelming with dog urine. Had to sleep with windows and door open due to the smell. Mattress needs replaced.

Pretty and peaceful getaway!
We’ve stayed here before and it’s perfect for a peaceful getaway. It’s right on the lake so it’s a pretty view. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you’d need to cook. The bathroom is nice and clean. I booked through Vrbo because it turned out to be less expensive on there than the same listing on Another popular site but I have to say, it’s logisticallly clunky. Vrbo sends a confirmation but then all other info is sent through a separate entity, requiring you to download another app to get check in instructions. The information isn’t available in one spot. Not sure why this has changed but it’s not great for guests as it makes it harder to find basic information you need for the stay. I’d also asked about an earlier check in and got a vague, it depends on housekeeping response, but never heard a definitive yes or no. As a short-term rental host myself who uses a housekeeper, that’s super poor service. Find out and get back to the guest. Love the place and I’m sure we’ll book again. Not a fan of the management company.

So romantic and private!
We came for our anniversary, and the cabin was an excellent choice. It was quiet and charming. We had everything we needed to make meals, and the general store was right down the road. We loved the wood-burning fireplace. We spent much of the day on the large porch, which has great views of the lake.

Tree House Stay
My wife and I spent five days at Tree House. This is a studio cabin the bed is off to the side of the living room. We had to live out of our suitcases, there is no storage for clothing. Deck is great, however we felt the location was not. We encountered mice and lots of flies. Over rated for the money.
