“I recently stayed at the Spirit Lodge with three of my children (18,15,13) and we all had a fantastic time. The location was perfect as we were able to bike to the Town Park for beach time and canoeing. We were also able to explore the State Park as it was just a short drive away. The lodge was exceptionally clean and had all the necessary amenities. We will definitely be back in the future!”

“This little cabin is no frills and exactly what we were looking for. No internet, no phone service, and no tv (other than dvd's and vhs tapes) it was like stepping back in time to before everyone became tethered to technology. “Erin was a wonderful host and the home and property are stunning. I wanted to find a cozy place to celebrate my grandmother’s 86th birthday. We were not disappointed! The home is so cozy and unique, with stunning views of Lake Superior and close access to the beach. Erin was wonderful! She offered local produce and meats for when we arrived and was even able to extend our stay for an additional night. This was a perfect place to spend some quality time together and am so grateful to have found...

“Very nice place nestled in the woods. Extremely quiet area. We really enjoyed sitting on the huge screened in deck with soaring ceiling. We had a small problem and Pao was there to remedy it within a couple hours. We really appreciated the quick response. Just a few minutes to Bayfield where there are numerous restaurants and/or bars, shops, rentals and the ferry to Madeline Island. If we get to the area again we would definitely stay there again.”

“What a beautiful and peaceful stay we had in Hodag House! My family needed a get away and our stay was perfect. The cabin was super clean, had everything that we needed and had very comfortable beds so we slept great. The area is gorgeous and we got in plenty of hiking and kayaking. We will definitely be back!”

“This was a cute cabin along the south shore of Lake Superior, a quick bike ride to a couple of smaller towns and about 25 minutes to Bayfield. There is a short walk to a beach cove which is secluded and beautiful. Less than a 10 minute drive to Hidden falls hike which was gorgeous! The host was very responsive and flexible, and the place was clean and organized. Would definitely spend time here again! ”

“We were here for four days. It is amazing! The building was newly renovated, comfortable and attractive. There are three miles of mowed trails. The property is lovely, lots of deer, birds and ducks. It is private with little light pollution, giving you a wonderful view of the stars and planets. The Milky Way was brilliant. We are looking forward to returning this winter to Cross Country Ski.”
