This home was absolutely marvelous; southern charm of the idyllic front porch, tastefully paired with two porch rockers over-looking the sleepy street. The front beds are overflowing with flowering bushes and crepe Myrtle’s line the sidewalks for early morning walks.
Once inside the house you’re greeted with an open floor plan, the master bedroom off to the right, quaint living room with a large live potted plant in the corner. The kitchen is equipped with every utensil, spice, & tool you could ever need. One thing I found incredibly helpful, was every switch was labeled, there was no guess work required, it really added an additional layer of ease for us; the guest (the owner truly emphasized that we were her guests).
Every space was decorated with meticulous thought and care. Each room felt seamless into the next. Artwork; local and international, hung on the walls in an unassuming way. Large floor to ceiling curtains lined the bedroom walls, providing a feel of luxury. The beds were layered with sheets a down comforter duvet and a heavy yet thin blanket, perfect to wrap up with on the couch.
The master bath felt like walking into the Carlyle hotel, with a marble and black mosaic tiling on the floors and large Carrara marble tiles along the walls. A large soaking tub sits next to a glass encased rain shower, in front of two large windows; exuding with natural light.
In short; we had the perfect host who spoiled her guests in luxury & the most charming home.
