“I liked how responsive the owners are and how quiet it is. The breakfasts are amazing - they give you a menu and bring it to your door when you want and it tastes great! The only downside is when it's super cold out, the floor gets cold, but they do run space heaters in addition to the regular heater and even put down extra rugs. The cabin is on stilts since it's right on the river so I think some insulation under the floor would make it perfect!”

“This was perfect! Absolutely beautiful cabin, beautiful surroundings. We saw horses and Deers and squirrels and the pond my son-in-law and daughter fished in the pond. They had a blast. It was perfect. Will be renting again in the fall, because I can’t even imagine how gorgeous the leaves are going to be. The host is very accommodating very kind. We made a ton of fabulous memories. Thank you so much!My advice to others just do it!”

“Simple and at ease from check in! So glad i found this property for our half way stop back to Illinois. The beds were so comfy, kid and dog friendly, no clutter, great water pressure. We felt at home! We stayed with our dog, 2 and 4 year old kiddos, their grandmother and my husband and myself and we had plenty of room! The back yard was so nice for our pup after a long drive. Would easily choose to stay here again, thank you for a great VRBO! ”

“Our family stayed here for a night on our way further south for the holidays. We were a little concerned because of other reviews that it might be a bit cold overnight for the older generation, but that certainly was not the case. Space heaters were available and very much not needed! The furnace did it's job beautifully. The front porch was a really wonderful feature of the home and we enjoyed sitting out there in the evening. We also had dogs with us and the fenced in yard was amazing to have....

“The house was very nice. The kitchen was not well organized. There was plenty of bedding and towels. My complaints are: water coming from the faucet was much too hot and should come with a warning or the temp be turned down. There should be a railing going into the basement. I am 78 yrs old and it was difficult getting down the steps! We were told to wash all towels before leaving and detergent would be provided. Well, the washer was full of stinky wet clothes that had obviously been there...
