“A visit with local family and friends. The house was a haven for us to stay. The property is as described and pictured. Dorothy, the owner was pleasant and within a text message away. She respected our privacy but was available to assist if needed. Parking was very convenient and well lit at night. Motion activated lights on the walkway and porch were very helpful for evening returns to the home. We would definitely stay here again when we return to the area.”

“Loved the view of the pond from the various outdoor seating areas. The small dock was great for the best view and was fun to see the turtles. So peaceful, reminded us of a bird sanctuary. Michael and Ashleigh were very responsive to any inquiry we made. Kitchen nice size and well equipped for our stay. Especially enjoyed using one of the two fire pits for a relaxing evening under the stars. Thanks so much!”

“We had a wonderful stay. The house was located in a perfect location, and the town is pet friendly. We walked to watch the sunset each night, by the water. We walked to the drawbridge to downtown Mystic and also the Seaport. The house was spacious and very nicely decorated. The gardens were beautiful! The host answered any questions we had right away. “Bobby and Mason (Hosts) welcomed us at the door and Bobby escorted us around the property when we first arrived. This cottage is a God-send! All the amenities of home plus (which we did not use as we spent most of the four day visit on the back and upper decks enjoying the scenery, the flora and the fauna around the pond. We fed different species of fish, turtle, and waterfowl. We saw bald eagles, great blue heron, a ":very large" snapping turtle and more. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR A QUIET...

“Our final weekend of summer was spent at this little gem of a cottage. The house was lovely, cozy and clean upon arrival. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The beach was a 5 minute drive away. The hostess was so attentive to every text I sent. She also left us multiple treats for the adults and my son. A fantastic way to finish up the summer. We would go back in a heartbeat!”

“We enjoyed this little condo. The listing was accurate. The owner responded to every question and was easy to communicate with. We were thankful for plenty of coffee the next morning. We also had enough snacks that had been left for us that the 5 of us were able to have breakfast the next morning. It was a little far from town, but the parking in town was pretty rough so we still decided to walk to the downtown area and it wasn’t too bad of a walk.”

“We had an amazing time at this house. Robin was very attentive and communicative in the booking process along with checking in. I arrived about fifteen minutes early and reached out to her to see if I can enter and she responded very quickly allowing us to do so. The house was extremely spacious and beautiful. “All the beds were very comfortable except the downstairs bed. The house worked very well for us. We had 8 people. 2 kids and 6 adults. The thing we thought was funny was there were exactly 8 forks. And one of them was a salad fork. This caused excessive running of the dishwasher. Eventually we ran out and bought extra plastic forks. My suggestion is spend a few dollars to spruce up the silverware situation. But we had a fantastic family vacation. I would recommend the home.”

“So easy to access from Amtrak station. We walked and arrived within 10 minutes. Perfect stay for 1 or 2 persons...queen size bed. Felt like new or nearly new. Very clean. No on-site parking. Parking on street is available but spots are scarce. Easy walk to main street and all of the restaurants and shops. Wi-fi worked great. I will certainly come and stay here again.”

“My family stayed for the weekend and we couldn’t be happier with the home. It’s meticulous, well organized, according and extremely clean. You can tell the owners take great pride in the home and ensure every detail is taken care of. The kitchen is incredible to cook in, you have everything at your disposal and the bedrooms are well sized and comfortable. You are walking distance to the beach and have a great view.
