The actual rental was perfect. Two bedrooms with comfortable beds (we brought our own pillows per another review), plenty of blankets, warm fireplace, amazing views, clean and nicely decorated. We were in close proximity to skiing, tubing, alpine coaster, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.
The downside to our visit, was the 24/7 communication line with the Vacasa call center (not necessarily the local employees). Our first problem was trying to access the condo community gate with the key card provided. It was faulty and it took about 30 minutes of texting and calling the 24/7 line (while sitting in the car outside the gate) for a random resident to let us in and give us a 4 digit code. The conversations were beyond frustrating. A local employee did eventually call and he was kind. He offered to replace the card and I told him not to bother since we had a code now. The next day we tried to remedy the broken WIFI. Again, a 30 minute conversation that led nowhere. The maintenance guy that called the next day (day 3/4) was wonderful, but a part was likely broken and would require a new one from spectrum. No WIFI for the weekend. We also didn't have washcloths or kitchen towels, which we requested and never received. We didn't even get a response.
It didn't ruin our weekend, we still had a wonderful time. I hate to even take a star off because none of this falls on the homeowner, but it should be noticed.
To note, check in is at 4pm, and the office closes at 4pm.
