This place is gorgeous. It’s four star hotel quality of gorgeousness. The beds are comfortable and it’s super clean. Lots of space, including an outdoor area with fire pit. I’d recommend adding some couches to the 3rd floor TV areas (bedroom and loft) and the basement TV area. Big house, needs a few more options for seating. If you’re going to be cooking, there are plenty of pots and pans, but we couldn’t find a can opener, and there were only a few serving vessels (so we just used the cereal bowls). There’s a church across the street, but it’s not open during the week, which was a bummer, but certainly not a reflection on the host. The neighborhood was a bit unsettling, but it seems like it’s being rehabbed at least somewhat. The house itself feels like a fortress. If you’re going to the stadium or ballpark, go around on 395 instead of taking Edmonson. That road was not where I wanted to be with a van full of kids. Overall a good place to stay, especially if you have a large group.
