Great house
The house was amazing. It had everything you need from a great kitchen, pool, outdoor grill and very importantly an awesome view. The outdoor lawn was well maintained, very beautiful and it added to the overall stay of the house. The shower in the master bathroom did not have cold water. We did not bring it up since we were able to manage. Mind you, there are a lot of flying insects, some spiders, very beautiful butterflies but it's expected since this is not a suburban area.

Everything exceeded expectations
Beautiful property with an amazing view of not just the whale's tail but Osa Peninsula in the distance. Secluded and private, well worth the drive up the mountain. Very professional and responsive team managing this property. Had no issues during our stay.

In the clouds
Overall a nice property, everything you would need is in the house. Although some beach chairs and games for the rainy days would have been nice. It’s a nice home but aesthetically it’s very sterile. Could use a little decorating help. Lots of space and kitchen very well stocked. It’s high up in the mountain which is nice but in the summer it rained a lot up high so our view was obscured most of the time. I wouldn’t recommend small children as the inside and outside has slippery tile.

Paradise
This was my second time staying at casa Meridian. Pictures don’t do it justice. House is immaculate and up to date. The location is 5 stars! We saw tons of wildlife daily and anyone that is into bird watching, this is the spot! I saw a ton of rare birds during my stay as well as monkeys, Agoutis, Coatis, deer and an ant eater! Can’t wait to return! Thank you for the hospitality!

Amazing views
Views when you first walk into Meridian House are breath taking and are equally amazing in all rooms. Home is well appointed and A/C works well. Driving uphill to the home can be intimidating. Takes about 15 minutes and requires 4x4 (not AWD). Lots of flora and fauna to view on the property. Food and drinks at Scala restaurant (halfway up the drive to the home) were amazing. The wings at Jolly Roger Bar were okay, beer was ice cold, fries were really good, but no A/C or wi-fi. Wish we could give a better review, but home is starting to show its’ age. Little things needed to keep it amazing are not being done. Either mgmt company not making owners aware or are and owners not fixing them. Infinity pool is not working properly, even when full. Most lights in the pool burnt out or not working. Learned from the management company, the lights are on a timer that shut off at midnight. Both the dryer and washer were broke while there. Mgmt company quick to get someone to fix the dryer. In process of doing so, they broke warm water on washer. Internet connection great on first floor and patios, but sporadic in upstairs bedrooms. Can’t flush any products down drain in toilet. Took getting used to using waste cans provided. It would have been great to open all of the doors, but sadly too hot/humid and too many bugs/lizards. Beach chairs and umbrella for use would be nice. Sunsets are nice, but best views obscured by trees. Overall good stay, but could have been better.

Luxury in the Clouds
This house is amazing. It is literally up a mountain and you can see the clouds pass you by. The view from the house is so beautiful. The Whale's tail is right in the line of view. We had our family of 6 adults and we never felt trapped. Each room has it's own balcony or patio. The beds were fabulous. We even used the Private Chef they recommended and the food/service was unbelievable. Everyone was sad to leave and we will definitely return. We especially loved looking for the bird life and hearing the howler monkeys. You most definitely need a good 4x4 vehicle to get to the house. NO JOKE.

Premier Whales Tail View Property and Amenities
This was our fifth trip to Costa Rica, fourth between Uvita and Ojachal one north off the Coast from Liberia and our favorite. The roads as expected require four wheel drive, amenities and views superb, managed by a first class team.

Meridian house was a perfect place to stay in one of our favorite areas of Costa Rica. The property is stunning both inside and out. The drive up requires a 4 x 4 but that is well worth it once you arrive. Everything was top notch. Thank you

A Beautiful Stay
This home was absolutely perfect for our little family. There is certainly plenty of space for a larger group, but it was only the four of us. Ismael was helpful as we were planning and right through to our departure. The house was in excellent condition and well accommodated. We hired the chef service that was recommended by Ismael and Stephen and they were extraordinar Miguel, Francisco, Gary and Diego became part of our dinner experience and we learned so much about the area and the people through them. Our two weeks in this home were lovely. We had a 4x4 and had no trouble getting up and down the hill. We felt totally safe and walked most days. The kids used the tennis courts and we used the workout room. We'd totally stay in this home again and hope to come back to Domenical/Uvita again. We found everyone to be genuinely kind and professional. Thank you guys so much for your kind hospitality - Melissa and John

An absolute must
This property is gorgeous. The view in every direction is breath taking. From the back, you can clearly see Uvita, whale tail, playa Hermosa, and then Dominicaito towards the north. The sunsets are beautiful. From the front, you can see the mountains. One of my favorite views is from the floor to ceiling windows of master bath! The grounds are immaculate. Beautiful, lush and colorful. Honestly we woke in awe of the view every morning. It’s so quiet but the birds and bugs are constantly making noise. So peaceful. The home is clean, modern with a minimalist vibe. Not cozy and cluttered, but I like that. Very spacious. Every room has an amazing view! Fabulous kitchen! If you wanted to cook, it has everything you need including a large induction range! The outdoor pool area and porch with the grill and large dinning table is huge. Plenty of space to spread out! We did work out there every morning! Great loungers around the pool. There are no beach chairs, umbrellas, floats for the pool or outdoor games. Some other properties we have stayed at have a variety of those items. It would have been nice to have a chair or to for the beach… The drive. It’s a grind.. it’s a long way up and bumpy. But 100% worth it. But it may not be for everyone. It’s probably 20 mins to the main road, but once you are there, it’s 4-10 min to a beach in either direction. The restaurant Scala, is like 12 min from the house and it’s amazing with the best cocktails! The property manager was awesome. They use the whats app to communicate. Always quick to respond. We had them food shop for us prior to arrival. They organized everything and put it all away! If you like being up high, don’t mind bumpy rides, great views and a modern, clean home, this is the rental for you!!!

Meridian House
There is a little trade off because of the location. The views front and back are amazing, but the drive up & down the mountain require about 15 to 20 minutes to the main road. In my opinion the extra time is worth it! The layout of the villa is open and I would not change anything. Wake up every morning in awe.

Everything was great. The house has a lot of different nice places to enjoy! Great to have a BBQ. 20 minutes from the main road makes it somewhat long from the beach but who wants to go to the beach in this wonderful house. Th ocean view is the best

Stunning property
Meridian House is amazing!! We travel to Uvita a few times a year and this is by far the best property we have stayed at. Ismael was very responsive and helped to arrange for anything we needed. It takes about 15 minutes to drive up the mountain in a 4x4 but the view over the beach and Whales Tail more than makes up for it. Due to the lack of previous reviews we had a little apprehension in booking but in the end we were so glad we did.
