Estilo y comodidad - Bienvenido a The Bobbin

¡Esta encantadora cabaña de grado II (parte de un antiguo Stocking Mill) enclavada en el pintoresco Peak District se beneficia de estar a solo unos pasos de la tienda del pueblo, el salón de té y algunos pubs increíbles! Pasee en bicicleta por el sendero Monsal o camine por los impresionantes terrenos de Chatsworth House, ambos son de fácil acceso y esperan gloriosas vistas. ¡También es una visita a la cercana ciudad de Bakewell para probar el infame Pudín de Bakewell! Nuestro objetivo ha sido hacer de The Bobbin, un "hogar lejos del hogar" extremadamente cómodo. ¡Disfruta!

La casa está dividida en tres plantas y consta de:
Cocina, sala de estar con comedor, habitación doble, habitación doble y baño familiar.

Hay un patio compartido en la parte trasera, accesible desde la cocina con mesa y sillas y dos letrinas, una para lavandería y otra para bicicletas.

Con respecto a los niños que juegan afuera, tenga en cuenta que no hay una puerta para cerrar el patio.

Además, la escalera es empinada y puede no ser adecuada para niños muy pequeños, es decir, niños pequeños y ancianos.

Acceso de invitado:
Los huéspedes pueden estacionar enfrente / cerca de la propiedad y tener acceso a través del lado derecho del edificio y a través de la cocina al Patio en la parte trasera de la cabaña.

El Barrio:
La bobina está perfectamente situada en el corazón del pueblo y es ideal para aquellos con y sin transporte. Ashford in the Water está llena de historia y con el Monsal Trail en la puerta, hay mucho que ver y hacer. Puede disfrutar de un día visitando la joya de Derbyshire, Chatsworth o visitar Bakewell (The Pointing Dog & Duck junto al río es un excelente lugar para comer) y luego a Haddon Hall. La cercana estación de Hassop también cuenta con una maravillosa cafetería, librería y tienda de regalos con alquiler de bicicletas / bicicletas.

Cosy and comfortable
Only had 3 nights to enjoy the area, but provision of maps was very welcome and easy access for lovely countryside, especially biking on the Monsal Trail. Simon and Debs were most helpful with information and communication before our arrival and had easy control of the heating after unusual cold weather!

A quaint Little Cottage
Very central to the village of Ashford in the water. Local bus but not sure how often it is. Two Local pubs serving great food. Very clean and comfy beds. No problem parking in the street outside property. Overall a comfortable stay. VERY QUIET

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was in a perfect spot for us to explore the peak district and Ashford is a beautiful and quiet village (we totally recommend Aisseford tearoom for breakfast and check out the Sheep bridge on the river). The cottage itself was beautifully presented with lots of charming features and had everything we needed for a short break. We are already thinking about dates for a return visit!

Lovely Peak District stay
We had a great time staying at the bobbin, which we found to be just as it was described and perfect for a weekend with friends. Ashford in the water is a lovely place, close to Bakewell and Chatsworth. There are lots of walks nearby and the pub round the corner does fantastic food. Owners were very friendly and helpful, would definitely like to return.

Cramped and Basic
We found The Bobbin to be cramped and rather dark inside with a disappointing outside concrete courtyard that is shared by other properties and that has a view of several dustbins. The kitchen is small with limited facilities. There is for example no microwave or dishwasher. Also, the fridge did not have a freezer section. We found it somewhat difficult preparing and cooking meals in such a compact space. The property is on three stories with the bathroom and toilet on the top floor. Getting to the top floor entails climbing treacherously steep stairs with narrow treads. On the plus side, there is a pub within walking distance. The second pub in the village is closed at present. We felt so constrained by the tightness of the space in The Bobbin that we spent one night at the nearby Riverside House Hotel in a room with an outside terrace. It felt wonderful to be able to sit outside with a view of grass and flowers. The restaurant there was exceptional.

Great place for a long weekend
Everything provided as described. The location was great with easy access to walks, made better by the supply of local OS Maps. It is also not too far to Bakewell. The ducks by the river were great entertainment for a 1 year old too.

A short break around Ashford in the water.
A great cozy cottage in the peaceful village of Ashford. Ideal location for outdoor activities and only 5 minutes from Bakewell. The owners welcomed us at the property and all the details of the cottage were clearly explained.

Fantastic break
The Bobbin was a fantastic location for a great weekend away. Small and cosy, but with everything we needed. Communication was easy and we felt well looked after. The village is stunning! We enjoyed feeding the ducks, sampling the tea room's ice cream and drinking in the beer garden while our little girl played on the playpark. Very enjoyable and relaxing. Bakewell is 5 mins drive away and had plenty of takeaway/food/shopping options. We also enjoyed visiting Hassop Station and walking along the Monsal Trail - stunning views. We'd happily stay again.

Great cottage in a lovely location
We had a wonderful stay at The Bobbin and it was a perfect location for Chatsworth House and the Monsail trail. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities you would require and Simon was very friendly from start to finish. We ate at the Bulls Head a 3 minute walk from the cottage and the food was lovely. Everything about our stay at The Bobbin was perfect! Debs was excellent with communication and Simon was there to greet us with the keys and to give us a quick tour of the cottage; he even carried our ridiculously heavy bags up the stairs for us! The Bobbin is cosy, very well maintained, and perfect for any type of stay. The location is excellent for walks around the village or for exploring the beauty of the Peak District. Lovely, warm and welcoming property...
Simon was very welcoming and helpful on arrival. The Bobbin is perfectly located for visits to Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Stanage Edge. The house itself is pretty and quaint with all of the amenities that you would expect. The owners even provided us with butter, bread and milk for our stay which was very kind. The village has some lovely pubs/eateries which we enjoyed (The Bull and The Ashworth Arms). Overall, a lovely, warm and welcoming property perfectly situated for a fun-filled trip to the Peak District.
