“We loved the house, pool, views, and yes animals. You are in the rainforest. We loved that we could keep the bedroom door closed with AC and keep the critters out. Otherwise be ready for outdoor living. Also it did come with a difficult drive uphill on a dirt and bumpy road for 10 minutes. It was fun driving but even with our 4x4 it limited how many times we were willing to make the drive every day. The beds could be better and some small repairs were needed but not enough to dampen our time....

“This house is located way up on the mountain. It has a beautiful view of the Whales tail. From the bedrooms and pool deck. Inside the house is very spacious. Plenty of room for two families. It was just me and my wife. Adri the caretaker is great and will help you out if you need anything. The pool nice but was a bit cold when we were there .You will need a all wheel or 4 wheel deive vehicle to get upthe mountain ”

“This was an excellent property at a great price albeit in a bit of an inconvenient location with no view to speak of. The host was great and very accommodating. Communication occurred through Watsapp. Laundry facilities available but no detergent provided. Hand soap and dish soap provided.”

“Google Maps worked very well for directions. You get used to the roads in the mountains after a bit. It should NOT deter you from staying at the property. We want to rerun and the view was breathtaking. Beautiful, unique stay. Thank you!”

“The house was amazing. It had everything you need from a great kitchen, pool, outdoor grill and very importantly an awesome view. The outdoor lawn was well maintained, very beautiful and it added to the overall stay of the house. The shower in the master bathroom did not have cold water. We did not bring it up since we were able to manage. Mind you, there are a lot of flying insects, some spiders, very beautiful butterflies but it's expected since this is not a suburban area. ”

“We were a group of three adult females visiting Costa Rica for the first time. The house, property and pool are beautiful. I highly suggest allowing Del to schedule your transportation and excursions. All were flawless. The transportation to and from the airport was worth every penny. Don't be intimidated by the driveway. We rented the car from Del and once Adrian showed us how to navigate the driveway, it was no problem at all, even in the rain and dark. We saw lots of birds, had daily...
