“Mala experiencia. Como llegamos a las 20h ya no había recepción. Fuimos incapaces de cerrar la puerta porque parece que el pestillo tenía un mecanismo difícil. El aparcamiento es limitado y llegando tarde, hay que aparcar como se pueda. La cama era incómoda, había pelos en la bañera y el hotel en general más que antiguo y con carácter que es lo que se espera de un lodge ,parece viejo y sucio. No quisimos quedarnos al desayuno. “The location is wonderful, but that’s all the property has going for it. I have never stayed in such a dirty house. I had to clean the downstairs windows, so we could see the view. Mould in both bathrooms. Hairs on bathroom walls and dirt. The kitchen is filthy. Front garden fill with weeds. The whole house was dirty. Not a clean picture or mirror in the whole house. “This flat above the owners home had everything you could need apart from a washing machine for which Alexander offered the use of his. The views from every window were spectacular! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area and retreating to this comfortable flat at the end of the day.”

“Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once.”
