“The location was okay — about 30 minutes from LBI. The closest beach was unfortunately quite buggy and not very clean. The indoor space was very clean and well-kept, though the backyard setup felt a bit chaotic. Unfortunately, my husband got sick, and we had to leave a night early. I asked about a partial refund for the unused night, but the owner wasn’t able to offer one.”

“Great house for a quick getaway to AC ”

“Upon arrival we felt alittle uncomfortable with the location however the house was very cute and the neighborhood was quiet. The space was smaller than it looked in pictures but it worked just fine. The beds were all very comfortable. We were having a good time until night 2. The sewage was backed up and was coming up through the shower drains. We had to evacuate the home. The host offered us a second home to go to for our stay. We packed up at midnight and headed to the second home. This home...

“The home is Rustic shore home. The location is way close to the beach and restrooms. Just go up the hill and you get to see sunsets. Just go to the left. And then you're on the beach. For the beautiful moonrise and sunrise. This is a perfect house for our big family. Or a bunch of friends to get together. It was also great for a couple. Outside shower has beautiful. plenty of Pressure.”

We arrived in advance of a wedding in OC, NJ with our family and our pet to find this place in a total state of construction with no floors, furniture all piled up in the hallway, unflushed toilet, etc etc. All the while, some wacko is communicating with me through VRBO’s messenger app guiding me to the key for the house and saying “they’ve never had a situation like this before”.
