Stan and Terresa are brilliant hosts, and they were able to give me details of the local history of the Bay together with places to visit in the immediate area. The accommodate is very comfortable and spacious and has all of the essential amenities for a relaxing break. The apartment overlooks Tokomaru Bay and has stunning view from the garden area. The steep driveway is not for everyone, but our vehicle was small and we’re good at using mirrors to reverse. Hey, this town boasts the steepest street in the world! We navigated it alright.The location is a quick drive to the central part of Dunedin, the St Clair Hot Salt Pool, and Lamarck Castle. A lovely drive to the end of the peninsula to see the albatross and penguins, too.”
