“We stayed at Rhino lodge with our 6 year old and 3 year old and it was the perfect base to explore the Zoo and Dubbo region. The kids loved the novelty of sleeping in a tent and we parents didn’t need to sacrifice any creature comforts! The check in process was easy, and tent was set up thoughtfully with two single level beds for the kids (rather than bunk set up) when we arrived. “Chek-in is complicared after office hours, unless contacted Tourist Lodge and got guidance, how to proceed. Transportation is near. Bus station is quite near and train station within 10 .. 15 minutes walk. Walls are thin. Others hear well, what you are doing and counterwise.”

“Loved our stay in the jungle! Great food at the cafe. Snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef was amazing—make sure you rent a wetsuit to avoid a bad burn! Room was clean & ensuite bathroom was great. Loved sitting out on the little porch in the evenings.”

“Love the easy access into the building, couldn’t find a dryer in the building as it was raining when we turned up In saying that it did have everything else u needed in the room including a pot scrubber n gloves lol Staff n restaurant in the pub downstairs was nice as well ”
