Disappointing
This house is okay, although weirdly decorated, with unnecessary furniture and sculptures, and the location is not bad (close to a major road, but without terrible road noise, and also close to Target and some shops and restaurants).
There are some unfortunate things about the house, like the big bunk bed system that is very wobbly and not solid. And the motion-detection light that goes on in that room, so that when anyone of the 6 possible people sleeping there gets up in the night, the light goes on and wakes everyone else up. Why??
But the biggest issue was that the pool that was listed as private to the 3 "sister" houses offered on VRBO is actually also open to a fourth unlisted house, so is not private at all - and worse than a public pool, not under any rules or oversight. So we had smoking, music-blaring guests from the other house ruining our "private" pool time.
The property management company did apologize for the error and gave us a nominal refund as compensation, but that didn't really fix our experience.
