Awesome place to stay!
Beautiful property with an incredible view. It's a little out of the way, but well worth the drive. I will definitely be staying here again if I'm ever in the area.

Wonderful getaway
The views were beautiful and stunning at sunset, thus the house is named the sunset house. The house was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and provisions in the kitchen were very good. Although the lake was down to nothing, we didn’t really care because the pool and hot tub or lovely and we spent a lot of time enjoying those and the view from the deck. The owners were wonderful and very responsive for any request we had. I would definitely return to this house and we are thinking of returning next September.

Couples Getaway
We were looking for a quick getaway to enjoy a bit of summer before its over. This place was PERFECT. The pool was refreshing. The views were beautiful, especially sunset. The golf and arcade games were a blast. It's a quiet, peaceful and well cared for property. We look forward to coming back regularly.

An Amazing Experience
We throughly enjoyed this home! Josh and Natalie were gracious hosts and provided everything, from easy check-in process, welcome goodies, things to do, etc. Our fur babies enjoyed the soft green grass while we relaxed in the pool, hot tub, and sofa lounge. Perfect place to just get away and have a relaxing staycation! We look forward to booking it again!

This property was great! Communication was above and beyond, House was very well stocked and the location was beautiful. Lake was a bit of a workout to get to but a beautiful, quieter area which was great for paddle boarding when we were there. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at this beautiful property! Absolutely wonderful views from this property & the home really has everything! The home has a wonderful layout, the pool/jacuzzi were fantastic & the yard for our dog was so nice! Bed was comfortable & I could not think of anything I would want different! Incredible stay! We hope to visit again soon!

Great Hosts and Outstanding Property
I only review our good stays and stay silent on the bad, but am rethinking my policy because this place really does deserve the highest rating. All my other reviews should be 4 stars, because this stay was one of the best. We were in town for the eclipse and the hosts had eclipse themed snacks laid out for us - from Moon Pies to Eclipse gum and much more. Checkin and follow-up communications were great. The house was spectacular and provided everything we needed for a great stay. Exactly as advertised. We will definitely be back. One of the nicest pet friendly houses we’ve found. Thanks to the hosts for their thoughtfulness and attentiveness!

Property was just as described and exceeded our expectations! Accommodated 6 adults for a relaxing weekend. Awesome views, even with the low lake level. Clean, all the amenities you need, and the finish outs of everything were top notch, including Sonos speakers throughout the entire property! Highly recommend this property!!

Nice Getaway
This was a very nice spacious home for the 7 of us. There is a little snag with the entry code but the customer service was super quick and friendly to fix it. The kids loved the pool. The kitchen was huge and had plenty of seating for all. This was a great house for us to get away and just relax and enjoy each other.

We had a great stay! Nice location for us to get away for a few days. The pool was fabulous. The house plan was perfect for our family. Not much water in the lake so we weren’t able to use it. Oven door doesn’t shut all the way and therefore heats a little inconsistently. Not a game changer by any means, just noted. All in all excellent!

It was an awesome stay. The place was just beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Actually, we didn’t want to leave. The lake was a little low but it didn’t matter because the view was breathtaking. The HEB was wonderful and closer than we imagined. We found a Walmart and a Dollar Tree. The Walgreens was close too. I will be back. Thank you so much.

Beautiful weekend getaway
Fantastic stay at The SunSet House. The house was clean as promised in the listing, several towels for showering or the pool/hot tub, and a gorgeous view of the lake. The home truly has everything you need for a weekend, or weeks stay. The property is laid out well for multiple guests or family members so you still feel like you have privacy. The beds in each room were extremely comfortable, but the view of the pool, lake, and morning sunshine forces you out of bed for your cup of coffee and stillness on the balcony or patio! Our family plans to make this property a frequent stay. The owners were extremely thoughtful when creating this rental experience, and it showed. The owners and house manager were always available, however, we did not have to reach out once. This is one of the best rental homes I have stayed at, and you won’t regret it, either! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
