This place was dusty and had mold. The washer was unusable as there was so much mold. The dishwasher smelled moldy. The queen bed felt buggy, although I did not see any bed bugs.
I was not prepared to handle such a situation. Perhaps I have been lucky over the years, but I have never before encountered these issues when renting through other agencies. Having bad allergies to both dust and mold and also an autoimmune disorder, I became sick and we left two days after arriving. (we had booked the property for one week) Although I did reach out to the contact provided to me, that person said they were not the contact for the property; they were only the cleaners scheduled to come after my stay was finished. Our early departure was before the owner could provide any solutions, nor did I take photos of the mold and dust. Therefore, there was not even partial compensation of the money spent
I am hopeful the owners were able to clean up the property for the next guest.
