A Chilly Week in a Cozy House
Since we were at this house the first week of January, we expected to have some chilly moments. However, none of those moments occurred inside of this warm and cozy home. From the moment we arrived, to the time we left, we enjoyed this house and how well it handled the elements.The master bedroom, located upstairs, was spacious and met our needs. While we did not have overnight guests, we appreciated the fact that every one of the three bedrooms has its own en suite bathroom. We were able to visit Atlanta, as well as more local sites with ease. The house is very near a major highway access, so that we were able to travel quickly to our destinations.This was a great stay.

Nice lake and good atmosphere
No VRBO is as good as the pictures, but this is the closest one so far. A full bath in all three rooms was nice. Comfortable for four people--everyone can have their own space.

Wonderful Stay
The home is beautiful! Definitely loved the master suite and downstairs bedroom. Kitchen is well stocked. Most importantly the owners are highly responsive during your entire stay. I’m looking forward to returning soon!

Comfy beds!!!
This property was perfect for our family. My adult son and granddaughters came and joined us for a long weekend. With my Husband and my other adult son, this property gave everyone a private space but also had ample room for when we were together. The lake was a great way to relax and watch the geese play.

Great location, but not relaxing.
Older home on beautiful lake setting. Yard in need of maintenance. Absolutely no contact from the owner at all. However, there are 24 signs posted throughout every room in the home of rules and regulations. A list of actions that will result in extra fees, i.e. too much trash. Very hard to rest and relax, or even feel welcome when you're afraid of breaking a rule and incurring a fine.

In town for Baseball
We were in town for a baseball tournament that is at numerous field sites all over Atlanta. We were lucky and were close to most of the fields during our stay. The location of the house was great that it seemed to be off the beaten path with the quietness of the lake setting, but it was close enough to a grocery store and the main roads we needed to take to our fields. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. TV’s in every room gave us all a chance to watch anything we wanted. The downstairs bedroom is in a basement but does not feel like it. It was nicely done and had the best shower in the house. The kitchen could definitely use some upgrading, but it was sufficient for our needs. The yard could also use a little TLC. We enjoyed fishing off the two docks but the vegetation around it and in the yard was very overgrown. We ventured into the cute little town nearby of Lilburn one night. I highly recommend a visit to the Agavero Cantina - Parkside. The really cool double decker bus turned restaurant overlooking the park was a hit with our family.

We were attending a family graduation in River Mist. It was the perfect home on Lake Lucerne. It was wonderful to have 3 bedrooms with bathrooms. Also a powder room on the main floor.

Annual Family Gathering
We rented this house for three sibling and their spouses. The lake was a highlight as we enjoyed coffee and leisurely visits on the dock. Each bedroom having a private bathroom was a huge bonus. Hope to stay again next year when we attend Stone Mountain Highland Games.

Quiet retreat
This home was cute and offered us the space we needed and a great place to debrief after attending all-day conference sessions. Close to lots of great restaurants and stores. Beds were super comfortable. Pillows could use replaced. Overall, it met our needs.

House was sufficient, but not as pictured in photos. Could not use fireplaces pictured in photos. Showers were awful and kitchen was all very old appliances. Getting to the dock was treacherous.
