Excellent time at Waters Edge!
My husband and I took our three children to Waters Edge for four nights in August. We had such a great time enjoying the property. We fished in the pond and lounged in the hot tub. The cottage had everything you could need and more. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bathroom had more than enough towels for all five of us. The washer and dryer was super handy - I came home with zero dirty clothes! There were tons of games to choose from and we enjoyed most of our meals out on the deck. We used the BBQ quite a bit as well. Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was how spotless the cottage was. Everything was exactly as we expected. Our kids loved the loft and the beds were all super comfortable. We loved how private the property was and we will 100% be staying at Waters Edge again. The host was super responsive as well which we greatly appreciated.

Family Get Away
We stayed two nights at the cabin. It was accurately described. Extremely clean and comfortable. The entrance was difficult to find due to multiple driveways in one spot, weeds had grown up over the address sign. There is no cell phone service, directions gps did not work. I had saved screenshot of directions which helped us find the location. The hot tub and pond were nice features of the property. My sons had a hard time fishing because the weeds around the pond were so high. They still had fun and managed to catch a couple bass. There is only one bedroom and one bathroom. There is a toilet in basement and washer and dryer. The Room is open so my kids would not use the bathroom down there due to lack of privacy. We had a family of 5. The loft has three beds but is open and no privacy if you need that. Beds were comfortable and bedding was nice. We enjoyed our trip it was close to ask cave and hocking hills. No close stores or cell service, but a short drive to a little country type store for food or essentials you might have forgot. We Would stay again.

Great Getaway
The cabin was spotlessly clean and just as advertised. Very secluded and perfect for a relaxing getaway while visiting Hocking Hills. Close to the trails and the attractions. The hot tub and fire pit were great and the kitchen was well equipped. Only complaint was that the mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Overall, our stay was pleasant, and the cabin was lovely. The location was perfect/centrally located for all of the hiking we wanted to do. We did, however, have a few frustrations to note. First, we attempted to contact the owner/manager on two occasions, once just prior to arrival (via the VRBO app) and once after arrival (via the phone number provided on the refrigerator), however, we never received a response. Second, we were not pleased with how dirty the windows were on the outside. This made viewing the beautiful property quite difficult. Third, there were no hangers in either of the bedroom closets. This was concerning to me as I had to work for a portion of the trip and wanted to ensure my clothing remained fresh and wrinkle free.

Spring Break get-away
This was a perfect spot for our family of 3. Very clean!! Kitchen was extremely well stocked. Excited to have a Keurig coffee pot to enjoy morning coffee on the deck. Perfect property for relaxing! Enjoyed the hot tub, pond for fishing and rockers on the deck.

Fun weekend
The place was really clean. We loved that!. Place was well stocked with all basic items -althought 2 rolls of toilet paper is not enough- sufficient towels, utensils and much more. Enough beds, clean and fresh linens. Hut tub was nice although there was no light outside to be able to enjoy it late in the day. We like the location in relationship to the caves nearby, but it was hard to fins the place even with gps. Take note that none of our phones had call service, so wifi is a must have! All in we really enjoyed the stay.

LOVED it!
This property was awesome. Pictures were great - but property was even better in person. Cabin was clean, welcoming and spacious. Kitchen was well appointed. I really appreciated all of the little extras like a basket filled with large beach size towels by the door nearest the hot tub outside. (Loved the hot tub also, BTW.) Jetted tub in the bathroom was great as well. Took advantage of the fire pit one night which was wonderful. I was most surprised by how much land surrounded the cabin - tons of open space with a lovely pond. Very secluded and quiet. Spotted a fox walking along the edge of the yard one morning and a deer down by the pond. The front and back porches were great - wonderful to sit and relax outside after a long day of hiking. My favorite thing about the cabin was the wall of windows overlooking the pond and woods. Enjoyed a cup of coffee each morning taking in that view. I would definitely stay at Waters Edge again and would recommend it to my friends. :)

Great property and great location
Our family stayed at this property for a weekend in November and we had a great time. The lake, the hot tub, the lodge are all very nice. The property is not too far from Cedar Falls and Old Man's Cave trails. The property is not too far from US 56 bit feels secluded. I would recommend this property and we will be happy if we can stay there again.
