Perfect Retreat

Great location near the Nisqaully entrance to the park, nestled between two cute (very) small towns Ashford and Elbe. The trail behind the cabin leads to a magnificent view of the Nisqually River valley. The cabin itself was spotless inside and out. Our family of four had a wonderful time grilling, hanging by the firepit, cooking breakfast in the updated kitchen, and the kids loved the hot tub. Every creature comfort that I could imagine was available in the cabin - coffee, laundry, soft bedding, stocked personal items. The communication with the owner was so easy and friendly. Wonderful experience.

Mt Rainier trip

My family scheduled an Alaskan cruise and decided to fly in a couple of days early to go to the park. This property is as advertised. It is a good distance from the park and within 20 minutes from a small town to go to a grocery store. The owners themselves provided household products that made everything nice also. We all enjoyed our few days here and are looking forward to coming back.

Definitely recommend!

I have only positive things to say about this place/owner! Such a cozy, clean, updated cabin. It has everything you need and more sticked. The bed was so comfortable! The owner was super quick to respond. Theres a creek in the back. Such an amazing place!

Recharge and renew..Mountain Paridise

This cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. The pictures do not do it justice. The inside is spotless. The kitchen has everything..including some coffee, creamer etc if you forgot anything. Bathroom same..even an extra too rush ;new) in case you forgot. Bed was really comply. The pellet stove kept the whole place, nice and toasty. Every kind of game you remember from your childhood Lincoln logs included. Of course there is the outside amazing, hot tub, fire pit, and all the lights that come on instantaneously at sundown. A the feeling of peace & solitude away from the city is .amazing . A short entrance to the Mount Rainier entrance.. Wow, absolutely Incredible in every way. We loved it

Great little base to explore Mt. Rainier

The location was great. We think it was the best hot tub we had ever used. So nice after a full day of hiking. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. This was difficult to navigate in the dark if you have to make several trips/night.

Modern mountain cabin

This cabin was very comfortable and everything has been updated. Clean is an understatement. My spouse and I really enjoyed this property. It was close enough to everything we wanted to do and very private feeling. We will definitely look to stay at this cabin again. Thank you.

Wonderful stay!

We would stay here again hands down. It was very clean and looked like the pictures! We loved the fire pit and hot tub, and they have the home stocked well with necessities. Only about 10 minutes from park entrance, so we found it to be a very convenient location if you are staying outside the park. Very picturesque, beautiful, and relaxing!

The little cabin is very clean! Including the jacuzzi and outdoor table area. The owner pays attention to details. We’ve stayed for a weekend, didn’t go out too much cause it was raining, so we spend most of our time in the cabin. Everything worked out great,

Clean and peaceful

This place was incredibly clean and quiet. There are neighbors but they’re beyond the trees so it still felt very private. The creek was dry since it was mid-summer but the hot tub was perfect. The place is stocked insanely well with everything anyone could ever need. Lovely place.

This place is amazing and exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, the home was beautiful, clean and so many amenities even down to the smallest details. Mt. Rainier basecamp

The property is part rustic cabin part luxury spa. Great location to explore Mt. Rainier NP during the day, and then later relax in the private hot tub afterwards. The hosts pay great attention to detail, from the deluxe appliances to the high-quality soaps and lotions. Just the place for a weekend getaway.

Great cabin in the woods. Everything was extremely clean and welcoming. Hot tub was great, a trail to the Nisqually River was a nice surprise. Very close to Rainier National Park. Host provided a ton of great information prior to the stay, including things to do in the area, check-in and arrival info. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.

Second Time Stay

This was our second time staying at the Wits End retreat. The property is clean, charming and well stocked with tools in the kitchen to make full meals, which we did. The hot tub is super clean and very nice - and the property abuts a little creek that makes a nice relaxing sound while you’re soaking in the hot tub. Great location with proximity to a few little spots in Elbe and also Ashford. Easy check in! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Nice Cabin

Well thought out Cabin Design with all the amenities to be comfortable yet still experience the great outdoors. We enjoyed the presence of the little creek next to the cabin. My wife and I loved it.

Winter getaway

Perfect little cabin for us to escape the world for a few days. The cabin itself was cozy and had no problem heating up. Very nice kitchen to cook in & we loved the outdoor patio with hot tub and fire pit!

Amazing little getaway

Such a clean and well stocked cabin. Nice quiet little getaway. We enjoyed everything about this cabin. Fairly small but great for two. And the hot tub and ambiance was a 10 for sure. Can’t wait to come back in the summer.

Wonderful Cabin & Stay!

Our family stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend! This cabin is exactly how it is described online. It was very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again with my family. Lots of walking trails in the woods nearby. Our family did some sledding at MRNP nearby.
