PERFECT PLACE–GREAT HOSTS–in Historic Storm
This VRBO rental was ideal for us. A beautiful facility with contemporary decor and a very nice porch overlooking a treed ravine. It sits in the historic neighborhood, quiet, and easy access to downtown Asheville. We loved it and would stay there again with no question. My wife could not stop raving about this rental. We highly recommend this rental for a couple staying in Asheville. Then, Hurricane Helene hit. No power, no water, no cell service, and only the snacks we had on hand. This historic storm, the largest in North Carolina history, brought down numerous trees. No electricity throughout the town. No restaurants and no grocery stores. We were trapped with no place to go and could not even use our bathroom. Our host and hostess made sure we had flashlights, gave us food and water, allowed us to use their own bathroom and shower. They even made coffee for us each morning. They repeatedly asked us if we needed anything. On top of all this, they felt bad that the storm adversely affected our stay in Asheville, they even offered us a partial refund. They were concerned and compassionate host/hostess and extremely good people. We would not hesitate to stay at this property again and would look favorably in seeing our host/hostess again. The perfect place with the perfect people.

Anniversary Fun
The Hide away was perfect for our trip! Very clean and cozy with everything that we needed for a week long couple retreat. The host was very responsive to questions and was thoughtful to leave a few sweet treats and a couple cold beverages upon our arrival. The back deck was our favorite place after long days of playing in town.

We stayed here during AVL Fest. It was a good location for walking to different venues. The home was well cared for and maintained. The host was very nice and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Look forward to staying here again.

Hideaway Heaven
A spectacular stay at the Hideaway. The unit decorated nicely with plenty of room to spread out. Nice quiet neighborhood and easily walkable to town with a few good restaurants close by. 5-10 min Uber ride downtown as well. Great communication with the host and I was very fortunate to meet her. Enjoyed a few evenings sitting on the back deck as well. Hope I can come back soon!

Cozy Space
We loved our stay! The location was great - we could walk to a nice cafe down the street as well as into downtown Asheville. The neighbor is historic with lots of old trees and interesting homes. The rental is the lower level of a home with a separate entrance around the back. It is very private, very clean, and very comfortable. It the perfect amount of space for two people. We hope to rent again on a future visit to Asheville. Thx for the cool beverages awaiting us in the frig upon arrival.

Gorgeous peaceful getaway
My husband and I stayed at the Hideaway for 5 days for our 21st wedding anniversary. The place was peaceful and beautiful, especially the private deck and lounge chairs overlooking the trees out back. It had everything we needed and even had thoughtful little touches. It was so clean and the host messaged us to make sure we were comfortable. If we return to Asheville we will stay here again!

Asheville Montford Area Hideaway
Loved this little home away from home. Super clean and comfortable, we were able to walk downtown and also to a nearby place for breakfast (twice). The Hideaway has everything we needed for comfort and convenience. The owner checked in with us to be sure everything was going well and was helpful before and during our stay. The place was furnished with lots of books and magazines with information about local sights, and we took as advantage of several of them. The only negative was the narrowness of the street where The Hideaway was located, but once we learned which way to enter the street for parking ease it made even that slight problem much better. If you love neat and clean and charming - this is your spot in Asheville!

Located in Montford neighborhood. Nice upscale area. 8 minute walk to All Day Darling- nice neighborhood restaurant- the kind everyone would want in their neighborhood's VRBO had everything we needed- Kurig coffee maker and porch to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine. Comfortable bed. Great couch. Plenty of room to enjoy a dinner with friends.

Apartment is close to downtown (20 min easy walk) and to Salvage Station where we had gone for a concert (10 min walk). Comfortable, clean apartment with everything we needed for our two night stay. No issues!

Wonderful property for a couple
We really enjoyed this property, the hosts provided everything we could need, so many recommendations and communication was excellent. We especially loved the coffee bar, the back deck and the location, it was right on the edge of downtown and so convenient. The neighborhood is charming and quiet. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Asheville.

Wonderful Place to Stay in Asheville

Perfect Hideaway
We loved staying here. It was quiet, very clean and super cozy. We were able to walk to the restaurants in Montford, while Downtown, Biltmore, and the River Arts District were just a short drive away. We loved coming back to relax in between outings and at the end of the day. We appreciated the Asheville recommendations that were sent ahead to help us plan our trip. Lovely place to stay and wonderful communication with our hosts!

Probably one of the nicest places I’ve rented in a long time. Very clean and has everything you need to cook simple meals. The complimentary coffee was a nice touch. In a convenient area close to everything but a nice quiet area. Loved it here and look forward to visiting again soon!
