“The overall stay was enjoyable but the villa was advertised as 'luxury' and we feel this isn't quite the case. The area in which the villa is situated is lovely, secluded and quiet but within the villa its self the kitchen is under equipped with the bare minimum utensils, pots, pans etc. There were no 'pantry' items at all tea, coffee, salt, herbs, etc The patio furniture was very old and cushion covers were ripped. There was definately a problem with ants in the villa especially in the upstairs...

“We had a very enjoyable week staying at the villa on the beautiful island of Zakynthos. The villa was modern, clean and with everything you need for your stay. They even do a mid week clean and replace towels and bedding. The pool is a good size for children to play in or to take a swim. The town of Tsilivi is a 8-10 minute walk, we had a hire car so often drove down in the evenings for the many restaurants and shops. There is a small shop 2 minutes walk for basics.”

My original flight ended up being cancelled and I reached out to the host to advise about the change for the check in time and wasn’t changing the reservation. “We wanted a month to just do nothing and re-set. This place was perfect. A lovely, friendly, family run affair with one daughter on reception, another daughter in the restaurant and Mum cooking. The grounds and pool are kept beautifully and the villa facilities are adequate, plus it's so convenient to have the restaurant on site. (And Aliki's cooking is great!) Its a 15min walk down through olive groves to the nearest beach and about half an hour to the next bay. My only negative would be that...

“Me and my family had a fantastic time in zakynthos. Our villa Zoe villa 2 was amazing more then big enough for the four of us nice dining area outside we used the private pool every day. The hosts had left us a lovely welcoming basket with all the essentials and more. The villa was cleaned regularly during our stay which was great. The WiFi was good had no complaints for the kids watching movies on their phones. Overall we can’t recommend the villa enough has everything you need and more some...

“From the moment we arrive to the goodbye hug from the owner, this holiday villa at lofos soilis was amazing. The photos were truthful, the villas was beautiful and the family that run the boutique hotel resort were amazing hosts. Nothing was too much bother and it just made our holiday even more wonderful. Highly recommend this place for the perfect quiet getaway with fantastic home cooking.”
