Nice place
The property was as advertised. The communication with the host was great, and everything was well marked. The view was slightly disappointing but mostly due to clouds and haze. Overall very pleased with the stay. Everything needed was provided as well as some snacks and drinks which were a nice touch.

Lovely house, immaculate and beautifully furnished. We had a few problems. First was the difficulty with the TV. Granted we didn’t come on this trip to watch tv but to try to get breaking news or sports was impossible and frustrating for us. Never able to master the tv. The house looks like it has just been remodeled but the deck is old and dirty. We come to the mountains to sit on the deck and see the sunrises and sunsets. Once you sit in the chairs all you see is the railing. Lastly, there is no blind or drape in the master bedroom sliding doors. If we went to bed before the sun went down it was too bright to sleep and as soon as the sun went down the outside lights came on from all around the main deck and would wake you up. We finally found a way to unplug most of the lights.

Quiet, beautiful, peaceful retreat
Beautiful scenery! Our stay was very relaxing and peaceful. We appreciated the stocked kitchen, beautiful furniture and decorated rooms. After sightseeing all day, it was great to just come home and relax either on the deck or in the living room. A lot of thought went into the meticulous details to make your stay perfect! (Ie. Makeup remover in bathroom, Keurig pods, snacks, creamer, sugar, spices, filtered water in fridge, trash bags, laundry pods, etc.)

Beautiful home with amazing views. Location was perfect for visiting Asheville, the Biltmore and hiking in the Pisgah national forest area. The hosts have made this home comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed the balcony views. We highly recommend this property.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is in a beautiful neighborhood with stunning mountain views, and is stocked with everything you’d ever need during your visit. Quick drive to Asheville, the Biltmore, and wineries. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved this property. We visited Asheville for a bachelorette trip to the Biltmore. Great location..close to town but felt secluded. Saw 2 bears walk through the firepit area..very cool experience. Beds were very comfortable and host has guest expectations spelled out clearly which I like. Would definitely stay here again

Wonderful Stay
My wife and I along with our dog just spent two weeks at this wonderful property. The home is very clean and comfortable and perfect for traveling with a pet. It sits up on a hillside which provides mountain views from the decks. The location is south of town but a quick trip into the Biltmore village or downtown. Lots of restaurants nearby and the kitchen/grill are available for at home meals. Very well equipped kitchen. There are many parks and trails nearby for dog walks or hiking. It was a great place to relax. Highly recommend. Cathy, our host, was a pleasure to deal with and always got back to us quickly with an answer to any question. She also graciously allowed us to stay well past check out time when we experienced car trouble at the end of our stay. Definitely a 5-star host!

Very nice stay! They had everything we needed! I was not familiar with Asheville so didn’t realize that it was 25 minutes from downtown which was a little inconvenient for us but house offered tons of privacy without being remote. Great listing!

Wonderful home
We loved staying at Royal Pines! The home is perfected located close to the Biltmore, amazing hiking trails and downtown. Highly recommend!! Like the owner states in the description of the home, the driveway is very steep, which makes sense being in the mountains :) We did back into the driveway as suggested, each time we were pulling out of the driveway we felt like we were on a roller coaster, we had fun with it :)

Long weekend
Everything was great! We had teens with us that enjoyed the ping pong table. I just have missed that in the descriptions so it was a nice surprise. It was a rainy weekend so we stayed in one night and watched a movie. Another night we had a fire in the fire pit. We will come back!

Peaceful
The property was beautiful and had a great location. Views were amazing and trails are right outside the door to walk or run. Definitely recommend. The one thing that did catch us off guard was the steepness of the driveway. The home was described having a steep driveway but the steepness was scared us. We decided to park on the roadside and carry everything down and back up on the last day. We were fine with that though as the property was well worth it.

Lovely Home
The home is adorable and well maintained. Easy check-in. Host was easy to communicate with and responsive in booking process. We didn’t have any issues that required communication while we were there. Only caveat is VERY steep driveway. This is not a good home for children, elderly or handicapped. The photos feel slightly deceptive on the yard and surrounding wooded area. It’s so steep, it’s virtually unusable. It rained almost the entire time we were there so we weren’t able to use the deck, outside dining or firepit. There is a shoulder parking area at top of property but a steep staircase to climb up and down to house/car. Location is ok. It’s about 20 minutes in any direction to points of interest. Road up to house is very narrow and winding. If you’re not comfortable driving these types of roads, especially at night, that could be a challenge for some. It’s a great home for a couple, girls weekend or a small family with teenage kids.
