Neighborhood looks a little sketchy first coming in, but the property is beautiful, and you are walking distance to the beach. You do have to be careful with the locals driving pretty fast on the beach but thankfully we didn't have any issues.
The backyard is spacious, and the kids loved running around and then walking over to the beach.
The unfortunate part of our stay was the ac unit went out in the downstairs master bedroom mid stay. The bathrooms don't have very good ventilation so that made the bedroom feel that much hotter. That particular room housed my sister, her husband and 3 little ones under 6. We pulled out a couple of fans but we ended up having to put the kids in different rooms just so they were comfortable.
The more unfortunate part of it was the lack of communication from the property management. The ac unit went out on Wednesday night, Kevin sent two men on Thursday afternoon, they were supposed to circle back within 40 minutes to check on things which they never did, and the ac unit still wasn't working, I reached out Friday afternoon and then Kevin said they had a call to an ac vendor and then I never heard from anyone after that.
We checked out on Sunday, and I did ask for a credit which Parrish did end up giving me a small credit. I get being on an island and trying to find a vendor on short notice doesn't always happen. What I didn't appreciate was the lack of communication. I shouldn't have been the one reaching out every time to get answers.
