Rude host, disappointing, unclean

We arrived to find the outside area was hugely different from the photo when we booked, which showed a lovely comfortable outdoor sofa with a table and a rug. It was so disappointing after a long flight from the UK to find just a small table and chairs instead.I messaged Alex explaining that we were disappointed and requesting that the issue could be resolved. He told me "the outdoor seating had to be replaced by new stuff, because the previous seating had sun and water damage due to the weather and rain we had the past couple of weeks". He apologised and offered me half of the cleaning fee (95); however, this didn't seem fair when I didn't have the outdoor area I believed I was paying for. I said it's misleading to show the outdoor area in the photo when there is just one small table and chairs; he said "it is not misleading", "we cannot control the weather" and "we didn't change anything on the outside". I asked "can you please provide me with replacement outdoor furniture because I booked this accommodation based on what I saw in the photos", as it is perfectly reasonable to expect a host to replace damaged furniture. He said I was "demanding" and that he has the right to change and rearrange furniture. I found him extremely rude, unreasonable and lacking in empathy. Interestingly, he has now removed the misleading photos.The floors were filthy, the kitchen is poorly equipped and the area is undesirable aside from being close to Disneyland. Consider staying elsewhere.

California adventure

Not a bad place but kind of unkept outside one bathroom for 8 people was rough but for the price it wasn’t bad but not the greatest for what we were doing a Disney trip and California exploration I would recommend for a smaller group..

Unclean and not comfortable

The dirty floors made my son’s feet black in an instant. There were stains on all the furniture. Thick dust everywhere especially the overhead fans. The curtains are really thin so good luck getting any sleep. The neighborhood is not very nice I would not recommend. The location is so not in Anaheim as posted. There was dirt everywhere and I left after a day.The only way I could have stayed would be to clean it myself but did not want to do that on vacation. One bed even smelled like body odor and was clear the linens were not changed. The owner gave me a huge problem getting a refund and Vrbo was no help. I had to dispute with my credit card.

Pleasant stay. Would book again.

It’s a small family home. And was able to accommodate 12 people. But with one bathroom made our schedules a little bit chaotic. The inside was nice and clean as pictured. During our stay, we did have a minor issue but Alex was super quick to respond and fix the problem. Parking was a little bit of an issue for me but wasn’t a big deal as we made it work with an suv and a van. Overall, the location was close to all the places we visited during our stay. And Alex was great host. I would book again.

Clean inside, litter box outside and like sleeping on the sun

The inside of the house is as advertised and clean. There are issues, however. The neighbor’s 6+ outside cats have adopted a pile of dirt in the front yard for the litter box. While obviously put there intentionally by a human, it is highly likely someone other than the VRBO owner. That said, there is still a litter box in the front yard. The sleeping situation is also problematic. The curtains are gauze thin and one room has a spotlight outside with no discernible switch. To have any chance of sleep, bring a face mask! Which leads to the next issue. The floodlight is right next to the OUTDOOR washer and dryer. Not a washer and dryer for outdoor use, just a plain old set out on the back porch. In short. It is clean and fine, with major annoyances. Would not stay again, or recommend.

rooms where a bit small, but its california so no big deal, but having only one bathroom is not pleasent specially when you have a party of 8 staying there.

I recommend !

This was a great place to stay at for the sole purpose of what we were there for. We came to Disneyland from Las Vegas and it was very close. There wasn’t many food options around, but we found this bar/restaurant that had very good Mexican food. It was called Dos Amigos!

Great stay!

There was lots of room for guests to sleep comfortably and had no trouble with parking, plus an easy breakfast right around the corner
