Loved the creative decorating with antique and old "repurposed" items! “The host is amazing and was fast and very attentive to anything we needed. We had trouble with some outdoor lights and there was someone there to fix them in 10 minutes. My family cooks a LOT...and the kitchen and dining areas were great for our family reunion. The pool slide is fast and very fun! Great times had by all. Would stay here again. Thanks to the host and staff for making this a great experience for our family!”

“We came to Nevada City to visit family, the Creekside Hideaway was the perfect accomodation for us. We are active seniors and enjoyed the easy access of downtown NC restaurants and shops. The studio apartment had everything we needed. It's unusual to find a King bed in a studio. The mattress was very comfortable with great linens and the outdoor patio by the creek was a place we enjoyed coffee and evening cocktails. We felt safe and secure I had some technical difficulties with my VRBO app, but...

“Let me start off by saying the two-star review seems a bit harsh. Here are my thoughts. Indeed, the pool lights go off at 9pm and you can't be loud past that time. The neighbors aren't super close, but I'm sure this property had issues with noise in the past and that probably ruined it for everyone going forward. The pool table and ping pong tables are smaller than your typical, but I thought the shuffleboard table was legit. The house was clean, no issues there. We had mild weather so I can't...

“My daughter (in her late 20's) stayed with some friends from out of town to celebrate her birthday. The place was in a great location and very close to several local outings. “This was a very comfortable place to spend a few days in a beautiful setting. Weather was warmer than expected, but the house had numerous fans and the temperature dropped quickly at sunset. My wife and I, along with our four adult children and two young grandchildren were all relaxed and happy. Our niece’s wedding was close by, so the location could not have been better. Our host was very quick to reply to any questions. ”

“Like many rental properties, the pots and pans were a bit dirty on arrival, but otherwise it was totally clean and a great stay! Quiet neighborhood and a really cool 3 story, well-appointed house. Plenty of games to stay busy when on site too. FYI-nothing to do with the rental other than location, but none of the fire roads or trails in the immediate area are dirt bike friendly, so we had to load and drive a bit to ride. We'll be back, but likely bring the mtb next time.”
