“Wonderful stay in this beautiful historic property. Lynn greeted us at check in and gave us the full run down of the property and set the tone for a great long weekend away. Reliable wifi and a TV with all the apps if you're looking to stay connected and plenty of opportunities to disconnect with trails starting right out the front door, a fire pit, and books and games to take advantage of. Close to so many activities in the area but far enough away to enjoy total solitude as well.”

“The home was clean and very well maintained. It was decorated for the season and all the little touches were so thoughtful. The wood work was amazing. We loved that the drawers etc were labeled to easily find items. The hosts were great and had all amenities available. The view was great. Some in our party used the canoe for early morning paddles around long pond. We highly recommend the home and the hosts. We will definitely be back. We give it a 12 out of 10 rating (12/10). ”

“The house had a generous layout with room to spread out and be comfortable. Sited right on the waterfront, it was a beautiful location. It’s all there - a hot tub, kayaks, pool table. We parked 4 cars too. Owner was responsive to anything that came up - our wayward Amazon package - even reaching out to mail carrier for help. Very accommodating! Would certainly return when we get a chance.”

“Well appointed, clearly newly updated. Bedrooms were on first and second floors which made it easier for couples, because the bathrooms were not in the bedrooms. It’s a beautiful property that I’m sure is wonderful year round. The only complaint was the garage was so cold we couldn’t utilize it.”

“Clean, well-maintained house. Many amenities above and beyond. Even generous supply of firewood. Not sure I'll ever be back in that area but if I am, that's where I'm staying. Jason was very helpful with communication before and during our visit. FIVE STARS! You won't be disappointed.”

“We went in November for a small family retreat and did expect to nor did we swim or kayak. But being on the lake, sitting on the dock and small beach was a magical way to see so many many stars in the sky. It was steps to walk into Pawtuckaway park and go in a hike. We made it to the fire tower!”

“We had a lovely time at this property. Very cute cabin feel, perfect for the fall. We were in town for a wedding at Pats Peak and were able to walk to the venue. The host had a fire going for us when we arrived and the cabin was peak coziness! As other reviews mentioned the hosts house is right there but it still felt private. Thanks for a great stay! ”

“The house was just as advertised but the pull out beds required some adjustment for adults versus children. Was 14 of us one person opted to sleep on the couch but they were it was comfortable and not necessary to pull out into the open bed. The great number of good games and entertainment available Made it easy for the young people and seems to have fun. We all enjoyed canoeing and kayaking. Our children took the grandchildren and themselves across to the larger lake for water skiing and...

Although the living area futon seating provides extra sleeping options, they are not the most comfortable for sitting/lounging. A softer chair or two would be welcome. Lovely deck for lake watching.
