El nivel inferior de la casa tiene una entrada independiente, con fácil acceso a los muebles del patio y un entorno muy agradable. En el interior, la sala de estar es espaciosa, con nevera, microondas y cafetera. Por supuesto, también hay un televisor con cable Fios. El primer dormitorio tiene una cama matrimonial y el segundo cuarto de baño tiene 2 camas individuales. Ambas habitaciones tienen grandes armarios.
La casa está muy cerca del monte. Vernon estate. Está a 10 minutos en coche de Old Town Alexandria y 20 minutos a DC.
El estacionamiento es fácil, justo en frente de la casa.

We had a family emergency and had to cancel this reservation at the last minute. The owner was very understanding and accommodating to our situation. If we are ever in this area, we will definitely look to see if this property is available.

Comfortable apartment in a quiet, safe neighborhood
Although the bathroom is awkwardly placed in between two bedrooms (so that those in one bedroom must pass through the bathroom to get to the kitchen or to leave the apartment, which is difficult if the bathroom is being used) and there is no kitchen, there is a refrigerator, microwave, dining room table, couch with large screen television, comfy beds, closets, and an ample bathroom with a great water flow shower. Clean towels and shampoo are provided. The rental cost was quite reasonable. In all, we enjoyed our stay there, the hosts were friendly, and the place is close to Mount Vernon, restaurants, Old Town Alexandria, and Washington, D.C. Recommended? Definitely.

Fabulous home and warm friendly hosts
This is a lovely holiday base in a quiet suburban neighbourhood which was safe to walk around on foot. Hosts live in a separate part of the building and couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The apartment is clean, stylish and homely. We used Ubers to get around as it’s just outside the areas we wanted to visit in downtown Alexandria and Washington DC but absolutely loved staying thereto get

Just like home
I loved my stay with DK and Polina! It's a beautiful and clean place in a quiet neighborhood with tons of great things to do within a half hour radius! The bed was super comfortable all the amenities were perfect! DK and Polina were so friendly and attentive - it was great to get to know them! Check in was super easy, and they gave me some great ideas about what to do while I was in NOVA, and even traffic tips to avoid the Beltway backups! I wish I had had more time in my trip to hang out with these wonderful hosts! I will definitely be back again!

The hosts greeted us as we arrived and showed us the accommodations, which were lovely. We only stayed one night but it was cozy. We went into town for dinner and had a nice meal. On Sunday evening you did not have to pay at the meters. We were very comfortable; the bed was soft and comfortable, and we slept well. Our host answered questions quickly and did not require any special tasks for our exit. The property had a beautiful garden area. We will stay again if in the area again.

Mt Vernon Trip
We were visiting George Washington's Mt Vernon House. This two-bedroom basement apartment was located very close by and in a very nice residential neighborhood. The apartment looked like new construction and was very clean and nicely decorated. It was very hot and humid out, but our apartment was exceptionally cool and comfortable. Our host was great - friendly, helpful and always available. Thank you for a great visit!

Cozy basement apartment, very clean and bright and comfortable. On a quiet street with convenient parking and still close to everything. No stove or kitchen sink but has large refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Very responsive and friendly hosts. We really enjoyed our stay!

Pleasant stay
Property owners are quite kind with easy communication. I didn't see on the description that the suite is a basement with the owners' living areas the main house upstairs and just through French doors downstairs. I also didn't read that there is no kitchen sink. These details may not have affected my decision to book, because the alternative was hotels that probably wouldn't have had a kitchen area at all. Basement is cold in summer so renter needs extra layer of clothing. No toaster oven as advertised but I did find a toaster in the cupboard near the end of my stay. Bed is so clean, very comfortable. A bit noisy upstairs at times and through French doors one night. Anyone wanting to be near Ft Belvoir should know it is a 15 minute drive to the nearest open gate. I am grateful for the nice place to stay.

0 complaints! Comfortable, quiet, clean, hospitable. Air condition worked great. Shower was awesome. Didn’t feel like a basement. Would definitely recommend for families not needing to cook. They even showed the kids the chickens in the backyard. Would stay here again no question.

The location is close to Washington DC. Neighborhood looks very beautiful. Parking is easy to find. The pace is well maintained. Paulina and DK were easy to communicate with. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Great Christmas stay

Nice!
Overall good stay. Nice, quiet, friendly neighborhood. Easy parking, wide streets. In the unit, good temperature, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Plenty of space for two. Just two small areas for improvement. As mentioned by others you do hear sounds in the locked off area next to the unit and above it, which was not a problem for us. Except there were two nights/mornings at approximately 4 or 5 a.m. where each of us on different nights were woken up by dropping stuff sounds next to us and above us. The other nights were quiet. Also the door to the outside is very hard to get to latch so it can’t be pushed open. It takes a lot of fiddling to get it to latch because I believe the latching plate in the door frame is moving around. Just a couple minor issues for us overall great stay!

Lovely neighborhood, easy drive to DC, friendly hosts
This rental was exactly what we were looking for. A relaxing place to stay that was within an easy drive to Washington D.C. we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
