“We stayed at this home Christmas week. It proved the perfect base for family aged 87 to 16. There was room enough for everyone to spread out. Commuications were excellent and host was very responsive. Our goal was to be able to have both traditional holiday dinners and gatherings and the adventure of exploring monuments and museums.The set up would also be convenient for families with younger children. “This is a cute townhome in Old Town Alexandria within walking distance to more restaurants, bars, shops, than you can count. It was also only four blocks to the King Street Metro and Alexandria train stations, which was very convenient for getting into DC without having to fight traffic and worry about parking.
