“Lovely stay. The staff was great! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. ”

“The hotel was under refurbishment and the bar and restaurant were both closed. I was not informed of this until late on in the booking when rooms in alternative hotels were expensive. The quays area is quite unappealing and boy racers speeding up and down the road on a night is a distraction too”
